Dez Bryant: Dallas Cowboys' Star WR Showing No Ill-Effects of Injury
Dez Bryant is showing no ill effects from the bruised quadriceps suffered against the New York Jets during the season opener.
The Cowboys’ star wide receiver started the game against the Detroit Lions by catching a 25-yard bomb from Tony Romo over Chris Houston, the Lions No. 1 cornerback, for an early touchdown strike.
Bryant has been ailing ever since that September 11 game and he has not had a full practice since September 9.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He missed the Cowboys second game in San Francisco, in which they won an overtime thriller against the 49ers, but returned to play in their win against Washington.
Bryant grabbed four receptions for 63 yards in a field goal kicking contest that Dallas came out ahead in.
The team has been taking precautions with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He only saw action in 12 games last year due to injury and the team does not want to see another one of their star players miss anymore time.
The teams receiving corps is especially thin without Miles Austin as was evident in the game against the Redskins.
Romo was often seen screaming and pointing at his receivers to get them in the correct spot on the field. The team needs as much depth and experience as possible out there, even when that means a receiver who is just in his second-year as a pro.
Look for Bryant to continue his dominance against an untested and weak Detroit Lions’ secondary today.
I expect him to add a bunch more receptions with Miles Austin out and perhaps another touchdown at some point today in a close game that should come down to the wire.
