NFL Picks Week 4: 3 Teams With Losing Records Who Will Rebound This Weekend

Michael MillSep 30, 2011

After a rough start to the season it's easy to hit the panic button and jump off board the bandwagon of teams that have underachieved.

However, it's important to remember that we are only through three weeks of the season. Also, with the limited offseason it should be expected for some teams to get off to slower starts.

That doesn't mean there is reason to panic just yet.

Here are three teams currently sitting at losing records who will rebound with wins this weekend.

Atlanta Falcons (1-2)

The Atlanta Falcons have one of the most talented teams in the NFC. After two weeks of the season, you wouldn't guess it.

The Falcons are sitting at 1-2 after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears. Their one win came against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Atlanta is a talented team that needs a simple fix. It starts with play calling.

This is not a team built to pass the ball 50 times per game and only run about 10. Michael Turner needs to get the ball more. When he does, the Falcons will start to pile on wins.

Seattle will be a good rebound team for the Falcons this weekend.

Philadelphia Eagles (1-2)

The Eagles were a team that many expected to get off to a slow start, but not quite this slow.

There have been many road bumps so far for the "Dream Team," primarily on defense.

Luckily for Philadelphia, they face an easier opponent in the San Francisco 49ers this weekend. It should be a good chance to get back on track.

The Eagles are one of the most talented teams in the league. With more time to jell they should still be set to make a playoff run.

Minnesota Vikings (0-3)

The Minnesota Vikings have blown three games in which they were leading at halftime.

A lot of this has to do with play calling. It seems silly to have a player the caliber of Adrian Peterson and not feed him the ball in the second half with a lead.

However, this isn't what the Vikings have been doing.

This is a team that could very easily be sitting at 3-0 but are actually winless.

Although that's disheartening, it is also a sign for hope. This weekend the Vikings play the Chiefs. Kansas City has been the worst team in the league thus far this year.

It should be a good game for the Vikings to rebound and get back on the right track.
