Michael Vick Broken Hand: Gauging Eagles QB's Current Fantasy Stock
With reports circulating that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick could miss up to four weeks with a broken right hand, his fantasy owners are in for an extended period of time without one of the most dynamic and highest-scoring players on their rosters.
Considering that Vick's middle name might as well be "If He Stays Healthy," his fantasy owners likely had his injury risk in mind when drafting him and have a good enough backup waiting in the wings to carry the load for the three or four weeks that Vick won't be on the field.
If not, the waiver wire still has a few gems waiting who could prove useful in the interim, like Tennessee Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, Browns quarterback Colt McCoy or, in some leagues, the Jets' Mark Sanchez.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vick's fantasy stock doesn't decline too much with the injury. Last season, he missed four games with broken rib cartilage and was able to return to the dominant form that made him a highly-coveted first-round fantasy pick this season.
High-risk, high-reward is the name of the game with Vick, and that he's missing time with an injury comes as no surprise. He's not worth trading away, and certainly should not be cut from rosters because of his broken hand.
Vick's year is playing out just as many thought and feared, but the fact that his owners went into this season all-in on the quarterback fully aware of the risks means that his value remains practically just as it was before the injury.
