Tom Brady Dooms the Patriots
In the wake of New England's shocking loss to the Bills for the first time since 2003, we are left wondering whether Tom Brady can still get it done.
Sure, when he is having a good day, he can put up Marino-like numbers and perhaps even surpass them. He can slice through defenses like a surgeon. He can make throws through non-existent windows in near perfect coverage schemes.
But yesterday's putrid, mistake- and interception-ridden performance only serves as a stinging reminder that Tom Brady's Patriots haven't won a Superbowl since the 2004 season.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It reminds us that he completely flopped in his own stadium when the Ravens, a team that he had dominated in the past, marched all over him in a route that resembled what the Patriots normally put on their opponents. It reminds us of last year's playoff defeat when Mark Sanchez, one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL, reversed roles with Brady as he clearly outplayed him in every aspect of the game. This has me wondering if their is any hope for my favorite team and my favorite quarterback.
I might be overreacting. But ask yourselves this: How could the Bills, the NFL's premier bottom feeder, come back from a 21-0 deficit to win the game against the vaunted Patriots?
The answer is Tom Brady.
He seemed determined to turn the ball over every time an opportunity presented itself (especially down in the red zone where he seemed to delight in killing potentially devastating drives to the Bills).
This pains me to say because I adore Brady's awesome abilities and I love watching him slaughter teams more than anything in the world. But I just don't think he can get it done when it counts anymore. The Patriots won't win the Super Bowl, and they may not even make the playoffs if Tom Brady insists on throwing games right into the defenses' hands like he did on Sunday. He let his team and his fans down.
