Steelers vs. Colts: Indy's QB Situation Sinking Colts to New Lows
Is Brett Favre available?
After watching Curtis Painter's performance in the Indianapolis Colts' 23-20 loss on Sunday night football, it's a legit question.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Five completions in 11 attempts for 60 yards and a fumble recovery for a touchdown later, and it's clear: Painter has no future as a starter in the NFL.
He has zero awareness in the pocket and struggled with his accuracy on even the easiest of throws.
The Colts really botched their preparation to be Peyton Manning-less this season and it has cost them dearly.
Why didn't the Colts draft Andy Dalton? Or beg the Bengals to give up Carson Palmer? Shoot, even Vince Young sounds like a great option at this point. Is JaMarcus Russell still playing football?
Painter had the best job in football as Manning's backup and you'd think he would be picking up a ton of tips from the most prepared QB in the league. Instead, he looks like a guy that has never played a down of football in his life.
DE Dwight Freeny played like a guy trying to win a football game by himself—and he almost did against a Steelers O-line that was down to four healthy guys by the end of the night. Robert Mathis was equally unstoppable.
The defense did all they could and it still wasn't good enough.

It's a legitimate conversation to have after watching Painter and Collins.
We all know what to expect from Collins—very conservative decision-making with low-risk, low-reward type plays.
That's not getting it done, but I doubt he would have given the Steelers an easy TD on a fumble.
Yet with Collins potentially missing next week's game against the Buccaneers, it looks like Painter will be starting.
It's a very difficult pill to swallow for Colts fans, but it's the reality of how quickly things can change in the NFL.

Colts management has to find somebody else to challenge these two—or I think we've found our winner for the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
