Brandon Lloyd Injury: Updates on Broncos Star's Week 3 Status and Fantasy Value
The status of Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Lloyd has been up in the air since their Week 1 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
His status has on and off for the past two weeks now, and apparently, it has been bugging him enough to keep him out of practices, and even a game. The Broncos desperately need Lloyd to get healthy and return to game action, as do fantasy football owners.
There are plenty of implications that come along with Lloyd's health status, so keep a watchful eye on this page throughout the week for the latest updates on his status for Week 3:

You should still check in just to be sure he's good to go come Sunday, but as of right now a probable status is a good indication he's going to suit up on Sunday.

Brandon Lloyd was a full participant in practice on Thursday, according to John Glennon of the Tennessean. As this Tweet indicates, battered teammates still haven't fully recovered. Multiple reports and tweets have surfaced that Lloyd has returned to Broncos practice.
Chris Mortensen of ESPN tweeted this earlier this afternoon:
The Denver Broncos official Twitter feed also confirmed that Lloyd was practicing.
There have also been reports that the Broncos are planning on him playing this weekend against the Titans.
Lindsay H. Jones of the Denver Post wrote about Lloyd's status for this weekend:
"Denver is confident that Lloyd will be able to play this weekend at Tennessee. But if Lloyd suffers a setback during practice, the Broncos could promote one of the wideouts on their practice squad—Eron Riley or D'Andre Goodwin. Demaryius Thomas, a former first-round draft pick, remains out while recovering from Achilles tendon surgery and a broken finger.
"
Fantasy Value
It's good news to have Lloyd back as an option for fantasy owners. The Broncos are desperate for a receiver, considering they played Tim Tebow in the slot, so if Lloyd is in, they are going to go to him early and often.
The question is whether or not his hamstring will hold up. The Broncos thought he was good to go last week, but apparently he wasn't. For what Lloyd can bring to the table, though, he's definitely a good risk to take.
Three and Out, NFL.com's fantasy blog, has this to say on Lloyd's fantasy impact:
"After he was a very late scratch in Week 2, Brandon Lloyd’s groin injury has improved enough that the Broncos are confident that the veteran wideout will be available for Sunday’s game against the Titans. His return will have some effect on current waiver wire superstar Eric Decker, but with Eddie Royal expected to miss the next the next couple of weeks, Decker will still have some value. The Titans have been one of the better teams against the pass in the first two weeks, but the Broncos also represent the best passing offense they will have seen so far this season
"
If you're a fantasy owner and are desperate for some help at the receiver position, then Lloyd is going to be well worth your risk. He's practicing and the Broncos are planning on him playing. Like I said, with their apparent need at receiver they are going to be looking at him a lot. The potential for some big points is there as long as he can stay healthy.
