C.J. Spiller: Why Bills RB's Fantasy Football Value Will Explode in PPR Leagues
C.J. Spiller has just gotten much more attractive in PPR fantasy leagues.
Buffalo's offense has been the surprise of the league thus far, and look for Spiller to explode onto the scene in the coming weeks.
Now that Roscoe Parrish is gone for the year, Spiller's fantasy value skyrockets. He was disappointing last season, but we've seen flashes of his explosiveness in Weeks 1 and 2.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Outside of the fact that he looks more comfortable in the offense and more patient following his blockers, Spiller's role within Chan Gailey's system will unquestionably increase.
As a Wide Receiver
Gailey has demonstrated his love for the four- and five-receiver sets during his time in Buffalo, and that won't change with Parrish out.
Spiller, similar to Parrish, is a matchup nightmare in the slot and provides more of a deep threat than the veteran wide receiver.
You can bet Gailey will utilize his 2010 first-round pick against linebackers or weaker cornerbacks across the middle, which will give Fitzpatrick easy throws and Spiller the chance to get the ball in space, where he's most dangerous.
Spiller entered the league with the reputation as a great receiver and could even be used on the dangerous wheel route that he ran frequently at Clemson.
He'll also be used more conventionally in Buffalo's passing game.
Fitzpatrick found the dynamic runner on a screen play against the Raiders that he took for a big chunk of yardage down the sideline.
Look for that to continue.
Fred Jackson is the more mature runner and as a knack for squeezing through small running lanes, but Spiller is far and away the home run threat.
I expect him to essentially turn into Parrish on offense. A lot of the plays initially drawn up for No. 11 will now be for Spiller.
As a Runner
Yes, Spiller's value in PPR leagues is much better today than it was entering the season because of his potential as a wideout, but he'll get more touches out of the backfield as well.
Buffalo likes to limit Jackson's carries so he's fresh for late-game situations.
With defenses likely loading the box on the NFL's leading rusher, Spiller will be inserted to keep opposing front sevens honest with runs to the outside.
He isn't a top fantasy running back, but he'll be a more integral part of the Bills offense for the rest of the season.
You can count on that.
