Sam Bradford: Rams' QB Will Be Under Siege Against Giants' Pass Rush
After injuring his right index finger in the St. Louis Rams' 31-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1, budding quarterback Sam Bradford is ready to go in Week 2 against the Giants in New York.
But the Giants' defensive line and aggressive game plan, as well as running back Steven Jackson's absence, should be concerning for the Rams.
The very reason Bradford injured his finger in Week 1 was because he had to throw under pressure and hit his finger on the helmet of Eagles defensive end Jacqua Parker.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In that game, Bradford was sacked five times.
There is no reason to believe things will get better for the Rams as they head into New York, where star defensive end Justin Tuck will be more in tune after missing the season opener.
And although the Giants' secondary is decimated by injuries, the absence of Jackson, who is being held out with a quad injury, will allow the Giants to play the pass more and likely force Bradford to make some throws he'd usually avoid.
It doesn't help that the game is being played in New York, which is a place known to be a bit loud. The noise will make it even more difficult for Bradford to direct his offense before every play.
Of course, Bradford is the type of quarterback who projects to make some throws many young quarterbacks wouldn't have the nerve or skill to make. It's not like the Giants are going to shut him down.
But it's worth noting Bradford was 17-of-30 for just 188 yards and no touchdowns against the Eagles. He also lost a fumble.
Sam Bradford has a bright future after tossing 18 touchdowns as a rookie in 2010, but even Bradford won't be able to keep the Rams from going 0-2 to start the season.
