Ben Roethlisberger Injury: Update on the Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback
Ben Roethlisberger took a shot to his knees in the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. It looked worse than it actually is. Roethlisberger is back in the game, but he does appear to be hindered by his legs. We have seen it time and time again where players miss time after finishing a game.
We will find out if this will be one of those occasions.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Roethlisberger was a dark-horse in the fantasy ranks in 2011. His weapons on the perimeter allowed him to be a high pick in fantasy drafts.
If he is injured—even if he plays through pain or not—it will affect every Pittsburgh Steelers fantasy option.
Rashard Mendenhall will see more eight-man fronts. Hines Ward, Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, Heath Miller and Emmanuel Sanders will all see fewer balls thrown to them.
If he does play, his fantasy numbers may still decrease. He won’t be able to be as mobile in the pocket and that is his forte.
Who’s The Backup?
Charlie Batch is the backup. The fans, coaches and players all love his mind for the game of football. Also, Charlie is a great guy.
He is suitable for the backup if Roethlisberger can’t go next week. He is experienced, can throw from the pocket and isn’t afraid of the moment.
Devastation Scale: 10/10
If Roethlisberger misses any time whatsoever it is a seven on the scale. Pittsburgh has done it before without Roethlisberger.
They played the first four games without Roethlisberger in 2010. They went 3-1 in that time frame.
What They’re Saying
Roethlisberger is one of the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL. It is tough to tell if he will be forced to miss any time from this injury.
He has looked shaky, at times, but he looks like he is starting to move a little better. We will find out more information after the game.
