Seattle Seahawks vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Second Half Adjustments
The Pittsburgh Steelers have dominated the Seattle Seahawks in the first half, taking a 17-0 lead into the locker room. So far the Seahawks have been outscored 33-0 in the first half of their games this season.
The score in this game could be worse or it could be a lot closer. The Seahawks had a goal-line stand, turning away the Steelers with no points. However, Seattle couldn't move the ball and Pittsburgh got the ball back at an excellent field position—the second drive was an extension of the first and it is hard to assume a 14-0 lead.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Seattle had an opportunity to tie the score at 7-7, but Aaron Curry was unable to bring in an interception despite getting both hands on the ball. Instead, the Steelers finished off the drive with a touchdown run and grabbed a 14-0 lead.
Seattle has shown the ability to move the ball, but penalties and a dropped pass have undermined their efforts.
If the Seahawks are going to make a game of this, they need to start playing error-free ball on offense. Tarvaris Jackson has been hitting his targets and making decent reads in this game. He needs to continue to look down-field and open up his offensive passing game.
Receivers are open, but they need help to make plays. Look for Doug Baldwin and possibly Kris Durham to get some opportunities in the second half.
Seattle needs to put up yards, but also needs to establish a bit of a ground presence to keep the Steelers honest.
On defense, the Seahawks need to stop the run. This was supposed to be the strength of this defense, but they've been giving up yards in big chunks in this game. A few early three and out stands could give the defense the break they need and allow the Seahawk offense to wear down the Pittsburgh defenders.
The linebackers need to contain plays better and a little more run support from the safety positions might be necessary as well. The issue is this opens the team up to trick plays the Steelers are known to use.
