Chad Ochocinco Draws Reaction from His Recent Comments, but It's Not Unexpected
You can't say you didn't see this one coming.
Chad Ochocinco's recent comments on Twitter have gained more attention and almost overshadowed the New England Patriots' victory on Monday night thanks in part to Tom Brady's record-breaking performance.
Ochocinco has attracted more media attention for his antics and remarks than his football performances throughout his career, but that was partially due to the fact he was a part of an underachieving team in Cincinnati.

But if his impact on the Patriots could translate more on the field than in the media, unquestionably, Ochcocinco's talent would show and improve New England's offense dramatically.
But he doesn't need to, for now.
The fact that the Patriots already have one of the most potent and dynamic offenses in the league without Ochocinco makes it hard to beat them, but add Ochocinco into the equation and you have an odds-on favorite to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy come February.
ESPN analyst and former Patriots linebacker Ted Bruschi called out the former Bengals wide receiver and told him to " drop the awe factor" and to "get in your playbook," and while this might be a cause concern, it's not something we haven't heard or seen out of Ochocinco before.
In fact, Bruschi and critics alike, might be reading too much into Ochocinco's comments and looking to create some negative exposure on a harmless quote. But if Bruschi is telling some truth to this matter, it's not likely going to affect the Patriots nor Ochocinco this early in the season.
After all, Ochocinco's antics aren't anything out of the ordinary and surely there are more similar episodes to come throughout the year. The Patriots knew what kind of character they were acquiring when they signed Ochocinco earlier in the offseason, but if he happens to sporadically make remarks like he did earlier this week, who's to say he's doing any intentional harm to the team?
Ochocinco's services on the field will be needed sooner than later, and under the guidance of head coach Bill Belichick, it is expected that he will contribute to the team's success.
