Fantasy Football Week 1 Injury Reports: Sam Bradford's MRI Should Scare Owners
Sam Bradford is one of the NFL's most dynamic young passers, and now he's on the injury report, and the news isn't getting any better.
Bradford suffered a finger injury in the Rams' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and while X-rays were negative, there is bad news on the horizon.
The team fears nerve damage in the finger, and there is an MRI scheduled.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The reigning Rookie of the Year is confident that he'll be back on the field next week when the upstart Rams take on the New York Giants, but it doesn't change the fact that it will impact his performance, along with the loss of some of his favorite targets.
Per Pro Football Talk:
"After the game, Bradford told the media (via Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch), “I don’t see any way that I’m not going to be on that field [playing] next Monday,” against the Giants.
The Rams also endured injuries to running back Steven Jackson (quad) and receiver Danny Amendola (dislocated elbow). Amendola could be out for a long time. As to Jackson and Bradford, the Rams need them back as soon as possible, as they work their way through a tough opening portion of the 2011 schedule.
"
Right now, a promising season is falling apart, and we haven't even gotten to Week 2 yet. St. Louis wasn't a team stacked with game-changers, and now, some of the best are on the injury report after a tough loss to the Eagles.
Bradford needed to rely on those players to get the job done and be a viable fantasy quarterback, and with those injuries, combined with his own, it's time to start surveying other options for your roster. Having him as a backup was a bit of a liability as it is, and now, it's time to cut bait and hope for the best on the waiver wire.
Finger injuries can be death to a quarterback, and even if he's going to try and give it a go on Sunday, it will be hard for him to have the type of impact he could have had with a fully healthy roster.
If it looks bad, then you have to avoid relying on him, otherwise you'll suffer the consequences on Sunday.
