WWE News: Gail Kim's Mystery Tweets Lead to WWE Status Announcement

Throughout the course of the week, WWE Diva Gail Kim has been posting tweets regarding her performance from Monday night's Diva's Battle Royal.

For those of you that missed it, Kim essentially eliminated herself by sliding out of the ring during the match.

It happened relatively quickly, so it was easy to miss. Her first tweet about the incident was posted on Tuesday, in response to wrestling sites speculating she may be trying to get fired. 

@gailkimITSME: "Nooooo I'm not doing my best to get fired. Wrestling websites who like to make up news with their wild imagination...haha don't believe it." 

@gailkimITSME: "was just checking to see if anyone was paying attention." and added that nobody backstaged noitced, , calling it "sad," yet also "very amusing."

Apparently, no one in WWE management realised the Diva had made her own exit from the match. Kim later defended her decision by stating: 

@gailkimITSME: "oh and also on the contrary, I wasn't being a mark 4 myself I was being a good employee when ur told to get out of the ring in less than a min.I just did it the fastest way possible:)so really I saved some time!"

Then Friday afternoon, Kim finally let fans in on a somewhat shocking revelation.

@gailkimITSME: "Hey I just wanted every1 to know that I officially quit WWE on Monday. So thank u wwe fans! This won't be the last u see of me. Love u guys :)"

Sadly, Kim has been misused since her return to the WWE. Don't get me wrong, up until recently the entire division was misused. However, Kim is one of those rare finds that can easily transition from valet to wrestler and vice-versa.

Kim made the right move for herself. It takes guts to see the writing on the wall and make a bold move. She has proven throughout her career in both WWE and TNA that she has what it takes to be a champion. Who knows what's in store for Kim, as she has plenty of options from TNA and ROH to New Japan.

Regardless of where she goes, she will definitely be an asset if used properly.

***Update: Kim may have seen the writing on the wall as B/R Featured Columnist Guillo Romano reported several wrestlers were released on Friday.***
