WWE Capitol Punishment 2011: Why Ezekiel Jackson Will Beat Wade Barrett
Before I start, let me make this clear: I don't WANT this to happen. Wade Barrett is probably my favourite man on the SmackDown roster, but I genuinely can't see it panning out any other way.
Ezekiel Jackson is going to take the intercontinental title from Wade Barrett at Capitol Punishment on Sunday night, and here are the reasons why...

The push Ezekiel Jackson has been getting has been RIDICULOUS. For someone as limited as him (hey, I didn't say it—Booker T did) to get as much ring time as he has shows that there's a bigger plan for him.
Big Zeke and his slams are here to stay. (He'll have to work on his mic skills, mind. That monologue he did a few weeks ago was hideous.)

Limited as he is, we've been told and shown over and over again how powerful he is. He's being built up as a mighty immovable object—the only way Barrett will be able to beat him will be through dirty tricks, and now without his sidekicks in the Corre, how will he manage that?

Barrett seems to be on a downward trend as Zeke gets his push. The poor man flew back from Spain for Monday Night Raw, and all he got to do was stand in the ring for about 30 seconds with the brief "Catch Sin Cara at the end of his spot, and don't let him break you."
With the Corre now non-existent, there's no reason for him to have the gold any more—no longer is the quartet a mighty belt-wearing force to be reckoned with.

Talking of the Corre's dissolution, now that Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater have cut their ties with Wade Barrett, I can see the denouement to Sunday's title match involving them helping out their former colleague Zeke to defeat their former leader and to take away his championship.
