WWE: My Monday Night Raw 6/13, 3-Hour Special Edition
Welcome Bleachers to a special three-hour version of My Monday Night Raw! Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown will be featured on the show.
The WWE's special guest general manager, Stone Cold, will also serve as my general manager.
Before I go any further, let's do a quick recap of last week's events.
John Cena opened the show saying that Alberto Del Rio is a coward and a cheater. Del Rio came down and said that Cena is not a real man and that he is afraid of Del Rio. The two were ready to go at it until the Raw GM chimed in.
The main event would now be John Cena and Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del RIo and Dolph Ziggler. But there was one more stipulation: The winning team gets to pick the match type for the WWE Championship match between Cena and Del Rio at Capitol Punishment!
CM Punk took care of Chris Masters after a little help from Mason Ryan. Punk would then set up a match between fellow Nexus members, Mason Ryan and David Otunga. The loser of the match would have to quit the Nexus.
William Regal made an appearance backstage talking to Drew McIntyre. McIntyre didn't have much to say but Regal still had a smirk on his face. What is Regal up to?
Drew McIntyre took on Evan Bourne in a good match that saw McIntyre picking up the victory.
Nikki Bella took on Beth Phoenix in one-on-one action. After some dirty tricks she picked up the win.
The Miz challenged Alex Riley to a match that will be featured this week. Whoever loses has to sign a service contract to serve the other one.
Mason Ryan and David Otunga had an awkward bout. After Punk yelled at Ryan, Ryan punched him in the face and walked off. Otunga won and Ryan quit the Nexus.
R-Truth and Rey Mysterio had a fight backstage. R-Truth has vowed to end their rivalry once and for all at Capitol Punishment.
In the main event, John Cena and Kofi Kingston took on Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler. After a very good match Del Rio managed to roll up Cena and use his pants for a little extra leverage to pick up the win. Del Rio then announced that he will take on Cena in an Ironman Match!
Just before we closed Regal had a little talk with Mason Ryan about "opportunity."
Now the show can begin!
Opening Segment
1 of 13
We are welcomed by Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and Josh Mathews on commentary. They announce that every WWE Superstar is here tonight.
Alberto del Rio then makes his lavish entrance and comes down to the ring. He says that he told the WWE fans that he is better than Cena. He also says that the match type he picked was one that only he could win because Cena is not a "real" man, he is a little baby.
John Cena comes out and says that he is tired of Del Rio's talk day in and day out. Cena says that Del Rio talks about his destiny and who is a "real" man way too much. Cena walks into the ring and prepares to talk to Del Rio when...
Dolph Ziggler's music hits and he decides to come into the ring. He says that Cena should be worried about Del Rio. He also says that Vicki Guerrero got Dolph into the United States championship match with Kingston and McIntyre. "Once I win the U.S. title I am coming for you Cena!"
Kofi Kingston comes out and proclaims that Cena will "have nothing to worry about then because Dolph will not be taking the belt off of me at Capitol Punishment." He will never get this belt and neither will McIntyre.
Right on cue, McIntyre comes down and says that he will not have any problem taking the belt away from Kofi. He also says that Ziggler is just a minor roadblock and will pose no threat to anyone. He doesn't even care that he is in the match anyway.
Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his entrance on his Quad and rides it to the ring. He gets off and steps right into the ring.
"It seems to me like we have a little controversy up here. Now, good ol' Steve Austin loves some controversy every once in awhile but I love a good fight more than anything else. So tonight we are going to have a tag team match, but it is going to be a special tag team match."
"Tonight, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre will take on John Cena and Kofi Kingston. Now, those teams are uneven. So, I have a partner for your team."
Randy Orton's music kicks in and the crowd goes crazy.
"Randy you will join Cena and Kofi."
"And one more thing. Instead of the plain old tag match, how about we make the match an elimination tag team match."
"If you wanna see these six men go at it in an elimination tag team match give me a 'Hell yeah!'"
"Hell yeah!"
"Now there you go boys, you got your main event match. And that's the bottom line...cause Stone Cold said so!"
We head to commercial.
Match 1: Justin Gabriel vs. Evan Bourne
2 of 13
The following is a cross-brand match.
Justin Gabriel is out first accompanied by his Heath Slater.
Evan Bourne is next out and receives a good pop.
The match starts off with a lock up between the two equally matched stars. Gabriel is just a little stronger than Bourne and backs him into the corner. He goes to do a running clothesline but Bourne darts out of the way. Gabriel stops himself before he runs into the turnbuckle. Bourne goes for a roundhouse kick but Gabriel ducks under and hits a leg sweep on Bourne, taking him down.
Gabriel goes for the pin and gets a one-count. Gabriel and Bourne are both on their feet and engage in some attempted moves but each one has a counter for the other. The two continue to be equal until Bourne hits a hurricanrana that sends Gabriel flying.
Bourne keeps the momentum going and lands a DDT. With Gabriel down, Bourne goes to the top rope to hit a shooting Star Press but Heath Slater pulls Gabriel out of the ring. Bourne simply turns and lands a flying cross body on both of them.
Gabriel and Bourne eventually get back in the ring and exchange some kicks and slaps before Gabriel counters Bourne's roundhouse with a super kick. Bourne is down and Gabriel goes for the pin. The count is a close two and Gabriel decides to go to the top rope to hit his 450 splash.
Gabriel hits it and gets the pin.
Match 2: Kane vs. Jack Swagger
3 of 13
The following is also a cross-branded match.
Jack Swagger makes his entrance with a decent reaction.
Kane's music hits and he makes his way down the ramp.
The match begins with Kane throwing Swagger into the turnbuckle and mounting a series of punches and shoulders before the referee makes him back out. Swagger hits a cheap slap to the face of Kane and he looks ticked off.
Swagger runs out of the ring and Kane follows him. Swagger runs around the ring steps with Kane close behind. Swagger then turns and throws Kane arm-first into the ring post on the outside. He continues the assault by grabbing the steel steps and hitting Kane in the arm with them.
He throws Kane back in the ring and goes for the pin, receiving a two-count. Swagger then locks in an arm bar on Kane. Kane fights his way out of it and starts up some offense. Kane hits an uppercut on Swagger followed by a big right hand. Kane runs to the ropes and hits a big clothesline.
Kane pins Swagger for a two-count. Kane gets up and motions for the Chokeslam. Swagger gets up and Kane grabs him but Swagger manages to counter out of it and hits a big suplex. He then locks in the ankle lock on Kane. Kane is slowly crawling to the ropes. He eventually reaches them and Swagger breaks the hold after four seconds.
Kane gets up limping and Swagger goes after him but walks right into another uppercut, which is followed by a big right hand and then another uppercut. Swagger is knocked down as Kane slowly goes to the top rope. Swagger gets up and Kane hits a flying clothesline.
Kane motions for the Chokeslam and when Swagger gets up he hits it for the three-count.
Kane is your winner as we head backstage to Steve Austin's office.
Steve Austin's Office
4 of 13
Stone Cold is sitting in his office drinking a cold beer when Christian walks in. Christian asks Steve if he thinks "Captain Charisma" is not good enough for the main event.
He says that if Randy Orton is good enough for the main event then so is he.
Steve Austin tells Christian that he better shut his damn mouth. Steve then tells Christian that he can be in the main event, it doesn't bother him.
He then tells Christian that now the teams are uneven again. Christian doesn't care but Austin says that now he is going to have to find someone to even out the teams.
We go to commercial with Steve Austin getting an idea and a BIG smile on his face.
Match 3: Sheamus vs. Rey Mysterio
5 of 13
Sheamus is out first after the commercial break. He gets good heat and waits for his opponent.
Rey Mysterio's music hits and he comes down to the ring.
The match starts off with Rey Mysterio gaining the advantage. He lands a few kicks and a hurricanrana on Sheamus. Sheamus goes for a big clothesline but Mysterio ducks under it and goes off the ropes for a big cross body on Sheamus. The pin is a close two-count.
Mysterio gets up and goes to the ropes again. This time, Sheamus follows him and lands the Brogue Kick on him but it knocks Rey to the outside. Sheamus stands in the ring with his arms in the "cross" position as the referee begins the 10-count. Sheamus tries to go to the outside to get Mysterio but the referee will not let him.
While the referee is distracted, R-Truth comes out from under the ring and hits Rey with a steel pipe of some kind. The referee turns around and resumes the count, oblivious to the interference. Mysterio gets counted out and Sheamus is your winner.
We then see our stupid Capitol Punishment promo with Obama.
Match 4: Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella
6 of 13
The Bellas come out first and get good heat.
Next out is Kelly Kelly with Beth Phoenix.
Kelly and Brie get some good back-and-forth action going until Kelly bulldogs Brie and she rolls out of the ring. The Bellas try to leave but Beth throws Brie back in the ring. Kelly hits a DDT and gets a two-count. Again Brie rolls out of the ring and tries to leave.
This time, when Beth goes to throw her back, Nikki hits her with the Divas Championship. Kelly then comes to the outside and a brawl between the four divas starts.
The referee has no choice but to call for the bell, the match is a draw. The four continue to fight until...
Stone Cold comes out on the arena stage. He says that he has two pieces of information for the crowd.
The first one is that Christian is now in the main event tonight and he will be on Del Rio's team. He also says that he needs to find another partner for Cena but assures the fans that he will get someone to fill the position.
Second, he says that since he is Raw GM for the evening, he is going to make a match at Capitol Punishment. He says that "Since the four of you like to fight so much how about you settle it in the ring."
"Brie, you will defend your title against Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix and Nikki. Yes ladies, at Capitiol Punishment you are going to have a Fatal 4-Way match!"
He leaves as the four gather their thoughts before we head to commercial.
Segment

William Regal is backstage yet again. He is talking with Mason Ryan and Sheamus when Wade Barrett walks past. Regal asks him if he got his message and Barrett says that he did receive it but he does not want any part of what he is doing.
Regal tells him that he better watch his back at Capitol Punishment, Ezekiel Jackson is coming for your title. Barrett tells him to watch his own back and continues down the hallway. Barrett stumbles upon Ezekiel Jackson and the two lock eyes.
They just stare each other down until Sheamus and Mason Ryan walk up behind Barrett. Jackson laughs and walks off. Barrett looks around and sees the two men.
He then turns back to Regal and asks about this "opportunity." Regal laughs and welcomes him to talk as we go to commercial.
Match 5: Alex Riley vs. Miz
8 of 13
The Miz is out first and receives his usual heat.
Alex Riley is out next and is ready to begin the match.
Before they start, Miz tells Riley that he is not feeling well and that the fight should be postponed. Riley just smirks and goes to punch Miz but Miz tells him that if they fight he will not be able to uphold the stipulation of the match. Riley tells him that he doesn't care as long as he can get his hands on The Miz.
Miz agrees and the match begins.
Riley locks up with Miz and throws him into the corner. Miz walks out of the corner into a clothesline and just lays there not trying to get up. Riley yells at him asking him what he is doing and Miz tells him he is fighting.
Riley looks confused and he picks up The Miz. They are staring at each other when Riley punches Miz and he falls down, again not trying to get up.
Riley looks confused and goes for the pin and gets the three-count. Miz then sparks up and walks out of the ring saying that he is now finished with Riley and wishes to move on.
Well, too bad—because here comes Steve Austin yet again.
Steve tells Miz that since he put on the worst match that Steve Austin has ever seen, he must face Riley one last time. At Capitol Punishment, The Miz will take on Alex Riley in a loser-leaves-Raw match!
Miz starts freaking out but Riley smiles. Miz starts yelling at Steve but Stone Cold gives him a stunner.
"And that's the bottom line...cause Stone Cold said so."

Triple H starts off in the ring with Drew McIntyre. The two engage in a test of strength that sees Triple H gaining the upper hand. He backs McIntyre in the corner and begins to chop away at his chest. He lands three chops before McIntyre walks out of the turnbuckle and Triple H hits him with a close.line. He then tags in Randy Orton.
Orton stomps on McIntyre's arms and legs before picking him up to hit a back breaker. Before he can hit the move however, McIntyre hits a reverse neckbreaker on Orton and crawls his way over to Ziggler to make the tag. Ziggler comes running in only to be powerslammed by Orton. Orton stalks Ziggler ready to hit the RKO.
He gets up and goes for the move but Ziggler slips out and tags in a surprised Christian. Christian slowly enters the ring and gets ready to take on Orton. The two engage in back and fourth action until Christian gains the upper-hand by hitting a DDT and then a crossbody. Christian locks in a camel clutch on Orton.
Orton powers out of it and manages to tag in a fresh Cena who runs in and takes down Christian. He then knocks McIntyre from the apron, punches Ziggler in the head and throws Del Rio into the ring. De Rio is stunned as he gets the AA from Cena and ends up on the outside.
Cena then focuses on Christian who is stumbling to his feet. Cena picks him up and hits the AA. He goes for the pin but McIntyre breaks it up. Kofi Kingston then comes in and hits the Trouble in paradise on McIntyre. Del Rio comes running in and takes out Kingston only to be met with a Spinebuster from Triple H. Team Cena stands in the ring with Team Del Rio on the outside as we head to our last commercial break.
Back from commercial, Kofi is in the ring with Ziggler. Kofi has Ziggler stunned and is ready to hit the boom drop. He hits it and sounds up the crowd for the trouble in paradise. Kingston goes for the move but misses and Ziggler counters into a Zig Zag. He pins Kofi and he is eliminated.
As soon as Ziggler turns around Randy Orton is waiting for him and hits the RKO. Ziggler is pinned and eliminated. McIntyre then comes in and faces off with Orton. The two go back and fourth with each man his moves.
McIntyre hits a big suplex and is getting ready to hit the Future Shock. He locks it in but Orton counters and goes for the RKO. McIntyre counters this into a suplex but Orton lands on his feet. Once McIntyre turns around he gets hit with the RKO and is eliminated.
Christian then storms the ring and throws Orton to the outside. Del Rio tries to get in the ring and argues with the ref. Christian goes over to argue to and so does Cena and Triple H. The referee is too busy to realize that Sheamus has come down out of the crowd.
He hits a Brogue Kick and a High Cross on Orton before throwing him back in the ring. The referee re-gains control long enough to see Christian pin Orton. He counts to three and the "viper" is eliminated.
It is now Del Rio and Christian vs. Cena and Triple H.

Main Event: The Finale
12 of 13
Christian is still in the ring and Triple H comes in to take him on. Christian is tired but willing to fight him. The two go back and fourth but eventually, Triple H hits a knee buster which is followed up by a Spine Buster. He is setting up for the pedigree when Del Rio comes in. Del Rio runs into Cena's shoulder block and then gets hit with another AA.
Triple H then hits Christian with the Pedigree and puts him away for the pin. Del Rio is tired and beaten when Cena throws him back in the ring. He is pleading with Triple H but he has no pity for him. Del Rio actually manages to throw Triple H into the Turnbuckle and then rolls him up grabbing his tights.
The referee counts to three but then realizes that Del Rio had Triple H's tights and rules that he is not eliminated. Del Rio argues with the referee just long enough for Triple H to get back to his feet. He hits the Pedigree and tags in Cena. Cena runs in and slaps on the STFU that Del Rio taps out to. Team Cena is your winner.
Cena's music hits but he grabs a mic and tells them to shut it off. He tells them to instead play the music of the hero of the night, Triple H!
We close the show with the two celebrating in the ring.
