WWE Needs Awesome: Why The Miz Will Crush Alex Riley When It Matters Most
All right...real talk this Friday, Bleachers.
For two weeks now we have seen Alex Riley decimate former WWE Champion The Miz on live television.
As a Miz fan I've had it up to here, and it is time the Awesome One gets a little revenge.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
There is a little something that may cause a problem for this feud right now: the separate rosters. Remember that one? I am certain some general manager will step in and allow them to compete against each other.
I never actually knew why Alex Riley carried around a briefcase to the ring every week. Maybe it is a contract stipulating he can appear on either show. I thought at first it might have been a replacement for that ugly piece of garbage John Cena wears around his waist—you know, the "spinner" championship belt.
Now let's look at the time frame here. We are in June, and Capitol Punishment is in three weeks, followed by Money in the Bank on July 17th.
With Kharma gone for now, this is the other most interesting story Monday Night RAW has to offer. A match at either event would be imperative.
The Miz is the type of "heel" who searches for and finds an opening when needed to win. He will take that little upstart for everything he's got, and when the dust settles, you will hear one thing: I CAME TO PLAY! The music playing loud and clear for all to hear.
Do not count The Miz out of the main event scene so quickly. Being relegated to the upper mid-card is normal in a superstar's career. Just ask Chris Jericho.
Let them duke it out for the next two months, I say, and air out all the frustration. If anything, once this is done, they'll be on separate shows...or will they?
I think The Miz should be sent to SmackDown to truly break away from the huge Cena shadow. With Randy Orton there as a "face," you need a counterpart, and Miz fits the bill.
I see a lot of potential with Alex Riley, no doubt about it, but he still needs to climb that ladder, and The Miz will teach him a lesson in humility.
Let's say for argument's sake both guys end up on SmackDown—then watch for the most must-see Champion in history to win the MITB briefcase AGAIN! He is in need of a serious victory now. One that matters and holding that briefcase is the way to shut all the critics up and stick it to Riley.
The Miz vs. Alex Riley match would light up the pay-per-view card. I hope they pull out all the stops. I pray it is without mercy.
You will see why the former WWE Champion has that "IT" factor. He is the one with experience here. It has been a long time since he hasn't held precious gold around his waist. Think about it: He's been a champion since 2008 NONSTOP (give or take a month or three).
The Miz is on the hunt for further greatness, and Alex Riley is in the way. The Grand Mizard of Lust will not stop to humble himself to his apprentice. Never!
In booking the story you have to anticipate a Riley upset once, but that's it.
It will be vicious, and in the end we will celebrate with a grand skull-crushing finale!
Early prediction: The Miz wins this feud solid!
Grand-scale prediction: The Miz wins the 2012 Royal Rumble.
Mark it down.
