NFL: Backup QB Kevin Kolb May Be Staying in an Eagles Jersey
As many know, there have been rumors tossed around relating to the landing place of backup QB Kevin Kolb. With Arizona being the favorite spot for Kolb to play next year, the deal is supposedly right around the corner.
What would happen though, if the Eagles decided to keep Kolb as a backup and not get a player or a pick out of the deal?
Many fans would be angry due to all the rumors of the Eagles trading Kolb for a needed cornerback or a future draft pick.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Coach Andy Reid revealed on Tuesday to Comcast SportsNet that the Eagles have actually not had any serious talks regarding Kolb -to anyone.
All the discussions about a trade or a deal are off base, and are again just rumors.
How could such a probable rumor be so out of place?
The Eagles have indeed had talks about a possible deal, but all were prior to the NFL lockout on March 12.
"You never got to that point where it's real serious; it was too far in advance. And you can't talk at all now. So, if he ends up going somewhere, more power to him, he deserves that opportunity. But I also like him here," Andy Reid stated on Philly.com
Arizona was certainly a potential destination for the quarterback out of the University of Houston, but a move won't be possible until the lockout is lifted.
The Eagles may opt to keep Kolb around for another season as insurance against an injury to Vick, but all we can do is wait and see.
