March Madness 2011 Bracket: Power Ranking the Top Seeds

Danny FlynnJun 7, 2018

It’s that time of the year again. March Madness is officially upon us.

In just a few short hours, we’ll all get to watch as our brackets begin to deteriorate right before our very eyes.

This tournament is shaping up to be one of the wildest and most unpredictable in recent memory, and as always, there should be no shortage of thrills and buzzer-beaters.

Say what you will about the downturn the game of college basketball has taken over the last decade or so, but there’s no denying that March Madness is still one of the most exciting events in all of sports.

While teams such as Ohio State and Kansas enter the 2011 tournament as some of the top favorites, there’s no true "it" team this year.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see a few high seeds go down early, just as we saw with Kansas last year when the Jayhawks were shocked by Northern Iowa in the second round.

Here’s a look at how I would rank the 16 top-four seeds in this year’s tournament.

1. Ohio State Buckeyes (East No. 1)
