
2011 NCAA Selection Sunday: Invitation List To the March Madness Dance Party
The Countdown begins to Selection Sunday.
One week from now, we will all know who will be in, and who will be out of the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
When the Selection Committee sits down to make their decisions, almost half of their work is done for them. Thirty-one slots are automatically assigned to conference champions.
The rest are given to teams that are chosen from the rest field of 346 D1 colleges and universities.
Six teams have already been selected by winning their conference tournaments.
Twenty-five more will be determined in the next six days.
Will Duke defend their National Championship?
Will Butler even make it in to the tournament?
How many teams from the Big East will actually get in to the Dance?
