
NBA Trade Talk: Thursday Night Recapping the Deals
Another deadline has come and gone. This will go down as one of the most memorable deals in history with the mega deals that were pulled off before the deadline and then the flurry of trades that were made as the clock hit 3pm.
Two all stars who were the faces of their respective franchises now have new teams to guide. Playoff teams picked up serviceable veterans to help for the playoff push, a player returned to a team that originally drafted him, and a once thought un-tradable deal was moved.
This deadline changed the layout of the NBA and set the guidelines for seasons to come.
Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks

The first major deal during the weekend before the deadline was a multi player blockbuster deal involving three teams and thirteen players.
To Denver: Raymond Felton,Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, Kosta, Koufus, 2014 first round pick, second round picks in 2012 and 2013, $3 million dollars, and a $17.15 million dollar trade exception.
To New York: Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Renaldo Balkman, Anthony Carter, and Corey Brewer.
To Minnesota: Eddy Curry, Anthony Randolph, $3 million dollars, and a 2015 second round draft pick.
Deron Willams to New Jersey

The most surprising deal of the deadline was quietest of any move. The Nets missed out on Carmelo Anthony but they did get arguably the best point guard in the game.
To New Jersey: Deron Williams
To Utah: Devin Harris, Devin Harris, two first round picks in 2011 and 2012.
Kendrick Perkins to Oklahoma City

In a deal that was almost as surprising as the Deron Williams deal the Thunder acquired the big man they need to compete in the West and the Celtics acquired Jeff Green a player they originally drafted.
To Boston: Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic, and a 2012 first round draft pick.
To Oklahoma City: Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson.
Hasheem Thabeet to Houston

Rocket GM Daryl Morey is always active and the deadline and he was able to acquire the big man he coveted. Thabeet is considered a bust by some, but he will get a fresh start in Houston.
To Memphis: Shane Battier and Ish Smith.
To Houston: Hasheem Thabeet and a first round draft pick.
Gerald Wallace to Portland

In a deal that was once rumored to be dead the Trailblazers were able to acquire a player one season removed from an All Star campaign.

To Charlotte: Joel Przybilla, Sean Marks, Dante Cunningham, two first round draft picks.
Aaron Brooks to Phoenix

Daryl Morey was once again active at the deadline with a swap of point guards. This deal could be a precusor to the Suns trying to move Steve Nash in the offseason.

In another surprising move the Celtics who seem to need all the front court help they can get traded two of their rookies to the struggling Cavs.

Nazr Mohammed to Oklahoma City

The Thunder came into this deadline desperatly needing front court help they solidified that spot with picking up a veteran center.
