Kelly Kelly: WWE's Top Diva in the Making?
For the third time since last night, I'm watching the Elimination Chamber, and there are two things about the crowd that caught my attention:
1. It was a very "heelish" attendance. Alberto del Rio and CM Punk got a lot of support during their matches, while the faces—not just John Cena—got mixed reactions.
2. One of the biggest pops of the night, probably the biggest, was for a Diva—Kelly Kelly.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
After a so-so 2010, Kelly Kelly is definitely being pushed recently. Not only was she the main event at SmackDown a few weeks ago (the first time I remember seeing Divas in a main event), she actually defended Edge's World Heavyweight Championship.
This push includes a change of attitude towards a more aggressive persona, in addition to a notorious improvement in her in-ring skills. Putting her in a segment with Trish Stratus at EC was not a random decision.
Are we watching Kelly Kelly's rise to the top of the Divas division?
She clearly is the most popular female wrestler, not only in the WWE, but worldwide. Just check on Google. You will find more search results for her than the other WWE Divas combined.
One could argue that she is not a "credible" menace to top Divas like Beth Phoenix or Melina, but she is already being booked on par to Michelle McCool and Layla. And let's not forget the current champion Eve Torres, who is not exactly a dominant diva.
Of course, Kelly Kelly still needs to improve her in-ring and mic skills, but she is improving. She will never be as good as Natalya or Gail Kim, but she doesn't need to.
This is sports entertainment, after all.
Until a few weeks ago, Kelly Kelly seemed to be the Stacy Keibler of this generation of Divas—an amazing piece of eye-candy that we all want to see in a pillow fight, not in a title match.
For what we have seen recently, she could actually be the next Trish Stratus.
