Jimmer Fredette: The Horror Of Brigham Young's Main Scorer

Every year it hurts. Oh, it hurts. Yet, I have to say it again. Jimmer Freaking Fredette is unbelievable.

As an Aztec supporter, there is nothing worse than finding time to give a compliment to a BYU Cougar. Year after year, though, I turn from cursing the man to complimenting the man.

After watching my Aztecs get torched last night from the Fredette show, I do have to give the man credit. He is the real deal. He is an amazing scorer with range from anywhere once he steps over half-court.

He is strong for a guard, has a quick step and can contort his body in any way possible. The craziest part is, it looks like he does it with ease. The man is one smooth assassin.

People who have not seen Jimmer need to make it a priority. He can move like Steve Nash and has the range of any NBA pure shooter and the strength of Deron Williams. If I had a vote, I would immediately coin Jimmer as the best player in the nation this year in college basketball.

For the people that may try and argue, just wait and see what he does in the tourney this year. I am a person that rarely guarantees anything, but I am positive he will produce something special and possibly historical.

The comparisons of him and Stephon Curry are nonsense. He is better.

BYU is a very good team, but Jimmer is also a very good team. Just put a team together that has nets that force the ball back to you.

What to you get? A one man-wrecking crew.
