NCAA Hoops Saturday:
College basketball is back in full swing Saturday Jan. 15, 2011 and I will put my best handicapping foot forward for all those couch potatoes ready for the action. Here's a handful of games that will get plenty of attention tomorrow.
Cincinnati at Syracuse: The Bearcats saw their undefeated season come to an end at the hands of Villanova, and now they face the daunting task of playing 'Cuse in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse has been riding high all year, as they still sport an undefeated record themselves. Syracuse doesn't have that star player, but the mix of Kris Joseph and Rick Jackson has been a formidable one. Pick: Cuse (-7.5)pts

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
San Diego State at New Mexico: The Aztecs are one of the handful of teams left in the country that remain unbeaten. Coach Steve Fisher has one of the nation's best kept secrets in stud forward Kawhi Leonard, but I don't like how the Aztecs are playing leading up to this game in " The Pit." New Mexico features one of the toughest home court advantages in the nation, and I think Coach Steve Alford will devise a plan to keep this game extremely close and/or possibly even pull off the upset. Pick: New Mexico (+1)pt
Maryland at Villanova: The Terps come into this game with a marginal 11-5 record compared to Villanova's 15-1 record, which includes a current 10-game winning streak. Coach Gary Williams has always been able to get his teams to play up to the level of their competition, and this game should be no different. The Terps just took Duke to the wire at Cameron Indoor and they will do the same to the Wildcats in this east coast clash. Pick: Maryland (+5.5)pts
Missouri at Texas A&M: Mizzou goes on the road in a Big 12 conference battle versus the surprising 15-1 Aggies. I look for Mizzou to speed up the pace of this game and dictate the tempo cooling off the red hot Aggies in College Station. Pick: Mizzou (+5.5)pts
Illinois at Wisconsin: Both teams head into this pivotal Big Ten match up coming off demoralizing losses. Illinois couldn't get over the hump at Penn State and Wisconsin blew a comfortable lead late at Sparty gift wrapping them a victory. Illinois guard Demetri McCamey is one of the nation's best, while Wisconsin poses its consistent fundamental style of basketball. Very few teams go into Madison and come out with a victory, but I'm going to go with the athleticism of the Illini to prevail in this one. Pick: Illinois (+6)pts
Bonus Pick Game, Oklahoma at Texas: Oklahoma officially has hit rock bottom this year. The team's 8-8 record includes a loss to Division II Chaminade in the Maui Invitational. Texas sports a dynamic freshman duo in guard Cory Joseph and forward Tristan Thompson. These two and their friends should have their way all day en route to a blowout victory at home. Pick: Texas (-19.5)pts
