WWE TLC: 5 Reasons Edge Has the Edge on Kane
In just a few days we will see Edge back in action in his specialty, a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match at WWE's TLC pay-per-view on Dec. 19, 2010. Edge will be taking on Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship. In this slideshow we'll go over five reasons Edge has the edge on Kane (pun 100 percent intended).

Kane's Title Reign Has Lasted Four Months

Title reigns in WWE nowadays are just not that long, and as pathetic as it sounds, four months is relatively long for a world championship reign. With each title defense the chances of Kane retaining gets smaller and smaller.
It's a TLC Match

Edge is the innovator of the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match. That means that it will not only be an amazing match, but Edge has the upper hand. Would WWE really put Kane over Edge in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match?
On a separate note, this match should be a match of the year candidate, and Edge in a TLC shouldn't disappoint anyone.
More Storyline Options For Edge

Kane has more or less "run his course" as the World Champion on Smackdown. While he hasn't nearly feuded with everyone in WWE, Smackdown has a lackluster main-event scene and Kane has done everything there is to do. From Rey Mysterio to The Undertaker to (currently) Edge.
We're Getting Close to WrestleMania

I'm not by any means saying Kane cannot main event WrestleMania, he more than can. But he's been with WWE for years and years and is only recently getting a big main-event run. This makes you question if WWE truly believes he can main event the biggest show of the year or they just needed someone to fill up the hole in the Smackdown main event scene.
Maybe WWE would rather have Edge be the World Heavyweight Championship going into the most popular season of the wrestling year, the Road to WrestleMania.
Edge Has Experience

This does somewhat relate to reason number 2, but it's a little different. Edge has been in more TLC matches than Kane and therefore has the advantage. It's not so much that Edge invented the TLC match (that's reason number 2), but that Edge has been in more Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Matches than Kane and that gives Edge the edge going into the World Heavyweight Championship Match this Sunday.
