Marcus Jordan Video: Watch Marcus Being Just Like Mike

Ryan RudnanskyDec 1, 2010

Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, appears to be channeling his inner MJ these days.

After a nasty dunk and salute against Stetson on Nov. 23, Marcus drove to the hoop Wednesday and made a left-handed, up-and-under banker, with English, after getting partially blocked by a defender.

The play drew an instant reaction from the crowd, and it is even sicker shown in slow motion.

The play is done so smoothly, with such finesse, that you can't help but compare it to some of the up-and-under moves MJ Sr. did during his illustrious playing career.

It was also the go-ahead bucket with about seven minutes to play in the game.

What's more, Marcus went on to score 18 points, with three rebounds, three assists and a steal in UCF's 57-54 upset against No. 18 Florida.

UCF is now 6-0 to start the season, despite not being ranked in the preseason.

Coming into the game, Marcus was averaging 16.8 points per game on 54 percent shooting and 1.6 steals a game.

The 6'3", 200-pound sophomore guard also made some clutch free throws with 24 seconds left against Florida to make it a 55-52 lead.

The most exciting thing about this, though, may be that this could be a turning point for Marcus, whose play wasn't all that visible on the court in his freshman season.

Only six games into the season, I guess we all will have plenty of time to find out what MJ Jr. has in store for us the rest of the way.

Will we see Marcus in the NBA? We can only hope, my friends. We can only hope.
