Reggie Bush, New Orleans Saints Marching Back In Fantasy NFL's Week 12 Risers

Brandon GalvinNov 25, 2010

Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints is finally ready to return from a broken leg to make a fantasy impact for or against your fantasy team. The superstar has had an interesting career thus far, but ran with more power earlier in the season than we had ever seen before. With Drew Brees as his quarterback, Bush will be catching a lot of passes out of the backfield. He should have the Saints pushing for a playoff spot as they look to defend their Super Bowl Championship.

Reggie Bush isn't the only star to return this week. Injuries have opened the doors for the new fantasy monsters to break out. Which stars are on the rise for Week 12 of the fantasy NFL season?

Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks QB

Matt Hasselbeck has actually performed quite well since returning from injury.

Against the Saints Week 11, Hasselbeck completed 23 of 44 attempted passes (72.7 completion percentage) for 366 yards and a touchdown.

Hasselbeck could be without his top receiver Mike Williams, who suffered a foot injury in the contest.

Still, Hasselbeck is on the rise and has a decent matchup against the Chiefs at home this week.

Reggie Bush finally appears ready to return from his broken leg. He'll be out there Thursday against Dallas.

Reggie will provide much needed help to the New Orleans running game.

Bush ran with more power and determination in the beginning of the season. He could be a determining factor in the fantasy playoffs with his dual threat abilities. He will catch a ton of passes out of the Saints' backfield and open up things for the rest of the passing game.

Bush will have New Orleans and his fantasy owners eying a championship.

The Chargers have finally activated Vincent Jackson.

Philip Rivers is playing at an MVP level. Jackson should not have any trouble coming back and adjusting to the NFL. He can still jump and catch and that’s all he’ll need to do with Rivers.

Fantasy owners who held onto Vincent Jackson all along could be reaping huge rewards in the fantasy playoffs.

Dreessen is a gifted receiving tight end and it is good to see him producing for the Texans as Owen Daniels is still working his way back from the knee injury he suffered last season.

Against his former team, the New York Jets, Dreessen caught four passes for 106 yards and a touchdown.

Dreessen may actually be the Texans' second best receiving option at the moment and is worth taking a chance on against the Titans Week 12.
