Watch the Glen Johnson—Allan Green Post Fight Conference Video
After Glen Johnson's big knock out win over Allan Green last Saturday night, he became the most beloved fighter in the sport of boxing.
The predominantly Mexican crowd, who traditionally prefer the more aggressive, busy, coming forward fighting style that of course best describes Johnson, gave him much love.
It became evident that Johnson—who was winning virtually every single round based on being the more aggressive fighter—pressing the action and landing the more cleaner effective punches to Green, who would just pretty much back up and try to hold on, was on his way to getting robbed yet again by the judges.
All three of the judges had Green winning the fight on the cards at the point of the stoppage which is just about as corrupt as Manny Pacquiao's opponent next weekend using plaster of paris on his handwraps.
Glen speaks to the media, with his cute Jamaican accent, displaying just how much of a likeable guy he truly is.
His tremendous work ethic, his humility and of course, defying the odds of being relevant in the Super Six Classic Tournament with this big win over Green while being 41 years old and not making the 168 lb limit in 10 years.
In the post fight conference we also see Lucian Bute, the fighter that many consider the best super middleweight in the world who can defeat all of the tournament's fighters, is there to support Glen Johnson and it appears the two have become real close friends.
What happens if Johnson and Bute end up fighting each other?
Will the odd random bromance end? Or will it even get stronger like a Rocky/Apollo type of bond?
Watch the video of Johnson talking to the media and see for yourself how the fighter known as the Road Warrior can not help but be liked by all people who root for the hardworking under dog who often gets screwed over.
