Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Washington Redskins (4-3) Redskins Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Detroit Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 20th - TDs Allowed T-16th
Detroit Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 27th - TDs Allowed T-27th
Washington Offensive Cast
Donovan McNabb (QB Week 8 Ranking #15) 2010 Season: 142/247 – for 1,761 Yards & 6 TDs
McNabb sure is taking his sweet time in looking to nab that first two TD passing game this year, but the wait should be over this week. Detroit can score, yet their defense still sucks. If McNasty wants to show the fantasy world he’s still worth a shot on any given Sunday, this is the week he’ll do it.
Ryan Torain (RB Week 8 Ranking #9) 2010 Season: 82 Carries for 381 Yards & three TDs || five Recs for 36 Yards & 0 TDs
I STILL have no problem saying that this kid is mediocre at best. However, he’s in a Mike Shanahan system that zone blocks with the best of them, so any RB that gets the chance will have the opportunity to shine. Against a team like Detroit? Start him. Period.
Santana Moss (WR Week 8 Ranking #11) 2010 Season: 42 Recs for 548 Yards & twoTDs
So Moss slides his way on down from one NFC North decrepit Pass D in Chicago to another in the fine city of Detroit. Sure, these two Defenses are like comparing Scooby Snacks to Granola Bars, but hey, that can only be good for Santana, right?
Anthony Armstrong (WR Week 8 Ranking #43) 2010 Season: 14 Recs for 276 Yards & one TD
Two weeks ago, Armstrong was the pickup of the week and a fantasy darling to all those who claimed him. If you ever planned on playing/starting him again, now’s your chance against a Detroit Pass D that likes to give up the long ball.
Chris Cooley (TE Week 8 Ranking #12) 2010 Season: 35 Recs for 392 Yards & two TDs
The Lions don’t give up a whole hell of a lot to tight ends, but that’s more due to teams being able to either run all over them or pass the ball wherever they want. McNabb is a tight end guy, so Cooley might get the easy targets this week simply because the Detroit pass coverage is so lax.
Detroit Lions (1-5) Lions Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Washington Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 31st - TDs Allowed T-16th
Washington Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 20th – TDs Allowed T-7th
Detroit Offensive Cast
Matthew Stafford (QB Week 8 Ranking #13) 2010 Season: 11/15 – for 83 Yards & 0 TDs
Stafford is finally back from his injury, and right in time to face the 31st ranked Pass D in the league. Calvin Johnson should be healed by now while the WR corps should all have had a good couple of weeks getting in tune with young Matty.
It may not be a 300-yard game, but the Lions have scored with the best of ‘em this year, so a couple of TDs shouldn’t be out of the question.
Shaun Hill (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 127/208 – for 1,309 Yards & nine TDs
Jahvid Best (RB Week 8 Ranking #19) 2010 Season: 79 Carries for 249 Yards & fourTDs || 31 Recs for 285 Yards & one TD
Best has never been known for being an ironman, so his breakdown after just a couple of games shouldn’t be too surprising to anyone. But Jahvid is healthy now, and so is the rest of the Detroit offense. If Stafford can’t make his way back into a comfortable passing game, familiarity will take over, which could mean a whole lot of Jahvid Best baby!
Calvin Johnson (WR Week 8 Ranking #2) 2010 Season: 29 Recs for 437 Yards & five TDs
So how many corny things can you say about Megatron and Stafford being hurt before the bye week, then coming back completely healthy afterwards to face the second worst Pass D in the league this week? Oh wait, that was it?
Nate Burleson (WR Week 8 Ranking #39) 2010 Season: 12 Recs for 129 Yards & two TDs
The Lions have had two weeks to prepare for this game against the second worst Pass D in the league, so you’d think that Burleson would stand for at least five catches and 55 yards, with possibly a TD along the way seeing how many points the Lions are scoring.
Brandon Pettigrew (TE Week 8 Ranking #9) 2010 Season: 33 Recs for 336 Yards & one TD
The Redskins aren’t too hot on covering the tight end either, so Pettigrew could be in for another nice week. People tend to forget that he was a former first-round pick because Stafford was taken in the first round as well. Brandon could end up being one of the best in the league for years to come if both he and Matty can stay healthy.
Tony Scheffler (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 26 Recs for 217 Yards & one TD
Both Scheffler and Pettigrew are getting looks, but Petty remains the better fantasy play at this point.
Jacksonville Jaguars (3-4) Jaguars Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Dallas Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 7th - TDs Allowed T-21st
Dallas Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 21st – TDs Allowed T-12th
Jacksonville Offensive Cast
David Garrard (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 84/128 – for 838 Yards & nine TDs
Garrard looks like he’s back from his injury.
Trent Edwards (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 14/24 – for 140 Yards & 0 TDs
Todd Bouman (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 18/34 – for 222 Yards & two TDs
Maurice Jones-Drew (RB Week 8 Ranking #10) 2010 Season: 135 Carries for 510 Yards & one TD || 17 Recs for 140 Yards & two TDs
Believe me MJD, I love ya buddy for all you’re trying to do for fantasy football with your show and everything on Sirius/XM, but my goodness brother… put up some goddamn numbers!!!
NOBODY wants to have a gimp on their team pretending like they should have been a Top-5 pick in the draft… and then TALKING about it. Everybody in EVERY draft makes a bad pick that we all wish we could take back. Don’t be that guy brotha!
Mike Sims-Walker (WR Week 8 Ranking #36) 2010 Season: 21 Recs for 239 Yards & three TDs
It looks like David Garrard will give it a go on Sunday after passing his concussion tests, so Sims-Walker might actually be worth something this weekend against a Pass D that just gave up 306 passing yards and 4 TDs at home. Sims-Walker has the skills, but can Garrard get him the ball is the question…
Mike Thomas (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 29 Recs for 346 Yards & 0 TDs
Thomas is outside my rankings this week as I would like to see at least one TD before he starts getting my attention.
Marcedes Lewis (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 23 Recs for 275 Yards & fiveTDs
Dallas Cowboys (1-5) Cowboys Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Jacksonville Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 27th - TDs Allowed 32nd
Jacksonville Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 25th – TDs Allowed 31st
Dallas Offensive Cast
Jon Kitna (QB Week 8 Ranking #12) 2010 Season: 16/33 – for 187 Yards & two TDs
No, he’s not Tony Romo, and is a lot closer to being his father than his brother, but he can still get the job done.
Having one of the best receiving corps in the league will certainly help, as will the fact that the Jags are 27th in passing yards/allowed and last in passing TDs allowed. If Romo was your guy, go ahead and slot Kitna right in there with him out.
Marion Barber (RB Week 8 Ranking #31) 2010 Season: 56 Carries for 181 Yards & one TD || seven Recs for 28 Yards & 0 TDs
Jacksonville pretty much sucks at whatever they do, which means the Cowboys will throw Barber a bone by way of a touchdown this week against possibly the worst defense in the entire league. Jon Kitna will be in charge of the offense, so a decent amount of running the ball could come regardless.
Felix Jones (RB Week 8 Ranking #18) 2010 Season: 60 Carries for 264 Yards & 0 TDs || 21 Recs for 143 Yards & 0 TDs
Listen, anyone who has seen him run knows that he is a once-in-a-lifetime talent. However, we all have our faults… Felix’s is stamina.
If he could last the way Marion Barber can, he’d be a 100-yard back with Chris Johnson-like capabilities every single week! Anyone who’s seen him knows it. Maybe with Romo out, he might get a chance.
Miles Austin (WR Week 8 Ranking #4) 2010 Season: 36 Recs for 524 Yards & two TDs
Yes, when the No. 1 QB goes down, it hurts the WRs as well. However, the QB that went down showed the backup the way, and now the backup (Jon Kitna) will follow the way that Romo set before him.
Against the worst Pass D in the league in giving up passing TDs (16), I’m thinking Miles catches at least one with the new guy along with getting 10+ targets.
Roy Williams (WR Week 8 Ranking #32) 2010 Season: 21 Recs for 306 Yards & five TDs
Say what you want about the guy, he’s still a specimen that needs to be admired and respected for everything he’s got. 6’3”, 215 lbs, Top-10 draft pick, and pretty much a touchdown-machine except for 2007 on Detroit and 2008 between Detroit and Dallas.
As a matter of fact, Roy E. Williams has scored exactly 8.75 times a year over his career without those messed up years, and over the past two years alone on the Cowboys has scored at a rate of 9.14 TDs per season.
Not too shabby. Against a Jags team that has given up the most TDs in the league thus far?!?!? You don’t have to read a Magic-8-Ball to know he’s going to score. Kitna, Romo, even OC Jason Garrett could throw it up this weekend and Roy E. would catch it!
Dez Bryant (WR Week 8 Ranking #29) 2010 Season: 22 Recs for 265 Yards & three TDs
The second Kitna took over, you could tell he liked throwing to his rookie phenom. Bryant can only hope to gain by the loss of Tony Romo, as Jon Kitna has a whole new philosophy on QBing… Get the ball to the open guy, no matter whether you party with him or do some sort of “Swinger” thing with him or not. THAT is why Dez Bryant just became relevant in the fantasy world…
Jason Witten (TE Week 8 Ranking #4) 2010 Season: 32 Recs for 365 Yards & two TDs
Kitna will absolutely need Witten to be there for him this Sunday, much like a Chihuahua needs about eight toys in order to be happy throughout the day. Believe it or not, Witten actually just took a fantasy upturn with Kitna coming out to play.
Miami Dolphins (3-3) Dolphins Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Cincinnati Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 19th - TDs Allowed 15th
Cincinnati Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 22nd – TDs Allowed T-21st
Miami Offensive Cast
Chad Henne (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 130/206 – for 1,452 Yards & eight TDs
Not quite in the rankings this week, but could easily end up with top-10 numbers.
Ronnie Brown (RB Week 8 Ranking #22) 2010 Season: 76 Carries for 313 Yards & one TD || 12 Recs for 73 Yards & 0 TDs
Cinci has a pretty good Rush D, but a freaky, Halloween thing is going on with the Dolphins right now… they are 3-0 on the road, yet 0-3 at home.
It’s their rushing attack that makes them work, so if they want to keep their streak alive (previous Away Wins were at Buffalo, Minnesota, and Green Bay), they’re going to have to use Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams the way that they have up until now… ENERGIZE them into submission!
Ricky Williams (RB Week 8 Ranking #30) 2010 Season: 67 Carries for 288 Yards & 0 TDs || five Recs for 44 Yards & one TD
Ricky has been getting a little more love lately as he’s averaged 12 touches/game over the past three and ran for 48 yards or more in all three (scoring in one). His most love seems to be coming away from home, so being at Cinci this week boosts his value just a bit.
Brandon Marshall (WR Week 8 Ranking #6) 2010 Season: 42 Recs for 524 Yards & oneTD
After playing Pittsburgh, this should feel like a cakewalk to them. Cincinnati has a mediocre D all the way around, so Marshall will be used to take the pressure off of Ronnie and Ricky to do all the work. Quick short ones to be sure, but he might just break a couple for 40+ during the game as well.
Davone Bess (WR Week 8 Ranking #34) 2010 Season: 32 Recs for 348 Yards & three TDs
I almost feel like I should write in a smaller font face for this one… In the wake of Chad Henne feeling his job slipping away, Davone Bess has suddenly become his bailout receiver. Surprise Surprise!
As it is with the best QBs, all of the sudden they learn how to use the underneath receiver… Brady to Welker, Peyton to Collie, Eli to Steve Smith, Bradford to Amendola, Warner/Flacco to Anquan Boldin and the list goes on and on… Bess could be one of those guys, but that’s all he’ll be. Unless Henne suddenly declares himself as a long lost brother to the Mannings or Brady, Bess is a crapshoot.
Brian Hartline (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 20 Recs for 234 Yards & one TD
Anthony Fasano (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 14 Recs for 198 Yards & two TDs
Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) Bengals Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Miami Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 17th - TDs Allowed T-8th
Miami Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 12th – TDs Allowed T-12th
Cincinnati Offensive Cast
Carson Palmer (QB Week 8 Ranking #9) 2010 Season: 151/244 – for 1,699 Yards & 10 TDs
I still think Palmer sucks, but it’s time to at least admit that the receiving corps of Owens, Ochocinco, Jordan Shipley and Jermaine Gresham will save him his job.
Well, maybe not save him his job, as the Bengals are still only 2-4 after last week’s loss (in which Palmer put up 412 yards and three TDs), but he’s safe for the rest of the season. Miami allows a QB Rating of 90.2 this year, so Palmer should have himself a nice day at home this weekend.
Cedric Benson (RB Week 8 Ranking #17) 2010 Season: 123 Carries for 476 Yards & two TDs || six Recs for 45 Yards & one TD
Tons of talent, somewhat speedy, pretty hefty, in an offense that should make him a star, yet can’t score a touchdown for his life! In six games, his longest run is 22 yards and he has just two rushing TDs to show for it.
Miami is pretty good against the run, but once Owens and Ochocinco loosen them up, Benson should be able to get his 75-100 yards on the day.
Chad Ochocinco (WR Week 8 Ranking #16) 2010 Season: 36 Recs for 424 Yards & twoTDs
The chance of him not scoring well and Owens not scoring well is pretty non-existent. Hopefully Palmer sees his old pal out there more often than Owens this week, eh?
Terrell Owens (WR Week 8 Ranking #7) 2010 Season: 40 Recs for 564 Yards & three TDs
It’s gotten to the point where I’ve pretty much just accepted this guy as being one of the best in the game no matter where he goes. What an animal; what a physical specimen, what a turd.
Oh, and Miami is susceptible to the deep ball... Hello!
Jordan Shipley (WR Week 8 Ranking #44) 2010 Season: 21 Recs for 321 Yards & one TD
It was only a matter of time before this kid came around. I actually drafted him in my league, but dropped him just before his explosion last week for Mike Williams on Seattle. I’m fine with my pickup, but Shipley is one of those guys that has a certain moxie to him
Jermaine Gresham (TE Week 8 Ranking #13) 2010 Season: 26 Recs for 184 Yards & two TDs
Gresham is right there in the Moeaki/Hernandez group as being part of the new crop of young stud tight ends. Palmer may not know his ass from a stool sample in the road nowadays, but lucky for him Gresham is more talented than a stool sample. The Dolphins are do-do against TEs, so temper your expectations this week.
Buffalo Bills (0-6) Bills Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Kansas City Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 25th - TDs Allowed T-8th
Kansas City Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 6th – TDs Allowed T-21st
Buffalo Offensive Cast
Ryan Fitzpatrick (QB Week 8 Ranking #8) 2010 Season: 81/128 – for 977 Yards & 11 TDs
I just puked in my mouth a little bit seeing Ryan Fitzpatrick in my Top-10 QBs this week, but my goodness, there’s really nothing I can do about it. The guy is simply on a roll that supersedes whatever piece of crap he was up until this point.
All of the sudden, the Bills have become a passing team, and a pretty good one at that. Lee Evans is a great talent, while Steve Johnson has the size to beat most corners in the league. Throw on top that the Chiefs Pass D is 25th in the league in yards allowed/game and Fitz could be munching at the Kibbles ‘N Bits by the end of this game.
Fred Jackson (RB Week 8 Ranking #25) 2010 Season: 55 Carries for 233 Yards & one TD || four Recs for -3 Yards & 0 TDs
FJax actually has a good game to work with, but on a team like Buffalo, the chance of it being put to use is next to impossible. One second the Bills are a running team; the next, Ryan Fitzpatrick comes out of Harvard to say “Suck it, YOU try to throw up 374 yards and four touchdowns against Baltimore, Trent!!!”
Fred Jackson could be a name to watch out for in the future, especially if Ryan can actually keep this team in the game long enough to use him, though that might not happen this year.
C.J. Spiller (RB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 26 Carries for 113 Yards & 0 TDs || 13 Recs for 48 Yards & one TD
If Spiller can somehow get his hands on the ball 10+ times this game, he might be able to rattle off some decent yardage.
Lee Evans (WR Week 8 Ranking #43) 2010 Season: 21 Recs for 286 Yards & four TDs
Congratulations Lee, you finally climbed your way out of BillsHell. Not many receivers ever get to feel that freedom, but enjoy it while it lasts, because believe me… it won’t last long.
Steve Johnson (WR Week 8 Ranking #24) 2010 Season: 25 Recs for 372 Yards & five TDs
I have no problem with someone coming out of nowhere, but coming out of nowhere on the Bills with a QB that was one of the jokes of the league is kind of ridiculous! He is, however, the third “Johnson” right now, so that definitely says something (Andre and Calvin).
Jonathan Stupar (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: seven Recs for 59 Yards & 0 TDs
Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) Chiefs Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Buffalo Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 9th - TDs Allowed T-29th
Buffalo Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 32nd – TDs Allowed 30th
Kansas City Offensive Cast
Matt Cassel (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 91/153 – for 1,044 Yards & nine TDs
Cassel could have made the rankings this week against a weak Bills Pass D, but my guess is the Chiefs run the ball all day long in this one.
Thomas Jones (RB Week 8 Ranking #5) 2010 Season: 99 Carries for 461 Yards & threeTDs || three Recs for 16 Yards & 0 TDs
The Bills are THE WORST Rush D in the league giving up an insane 174.5 rushing yards/game. Thomas Jones has the handle right now in the Chiefs offense. Yes, he’ll wear down eventually, but it won’t be in Week 8. KC will run him allllllll day long.
Jamaal Charles (RB Week 8 Ranking #15) 2010 Season: 81 Carries for 489 Yards & twoTDs || 12 Recs for 130 Yards & 0 TDs
If this game was being playing in Buffalo, I might say differently, but it’s in Kansas City. Buffalo’s Rush D has been so bad that I honestly believe that if you have both Thomas Jones AND Jamaal Charles, you could play both of them this week. KC’s offensive line shouldn’t have a problem at all with the Bills D-Line, and the fact that the game is at home for the Chiefs means run run run run run… and then some more run.
Unless Ryan Fitzpatrick goes ballistic with his little Harvard degree and makes the Chiefs have to pass this ball more than 18-20 times, both Charles and Jones should have 17-25 carries apiece and rack up on the stats this Sunday.
Dwayne Bowe (WR Week 8 Ranking #9) 2010 Season: 18 Recs for 341 Yards & five TDs
I actually drafted him knowing he would come out of his shell this year, but the fact of the matter is, the Chiefs have such a good running game with Jones and Charles that ONE receiver would emerge victorious over the rest, and that WR is Bowe. Buffalo will be run on all day, but Cassel will have to pass at some point.
Chris Chambers (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: seven Recs for 76 Yards & 0 TDs
Dexter McCluster (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 15 Recs for 147 Yards & one TD
Dexter likely won't be playing for a couple of weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Tony Moeaki (TE Week 8 Ranking #5) 2010 Season: 21 Recs for 236 Yards & two TDs
Moeaki is one of a few young TE studs to enter the league this year, and this should be one of his “show-off” weeks going up against the worst defense against the tight end in the Buffalo Bills. Play him if you got him.
Carolina Panthers (1-5) Panthers Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
St. Louis Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 18th - TDs Allowed T-8th
St. Louis Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 15th – TDs Allowed T-3rd
Carolina Offensive Cast
Matt Moore (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 53/100 – for 650 Yards & four TDs
Not too shabby last week for Moore. Let’s see if he can repeat his performance before we start ranking him.
DeAngelo Williams (RB Week 8 Ranking #20) 2010 Season: 87 Carries for 361 Yards & one TD || 11 Recs for 61 Yards & 0 TDs
I still love DeAngelo for sure, ’cause the kid has moves and sneaky power like few others have in this league. However, he seems to have been a bit slow as of late, though a quick jaunt on over to St. Louis should do something to cure whatever ails him real quick… especially with his job on the line. Of course, this ranking depends on his health for the game.
Jonathan Stewart (RB Week 8 Ranking #24) 2010 Season: 50 Carries for 148 Yards & one TD || four Recs for 77 Yards & one TD
DeAngelo Williams looks like he might have one foot out the door, which means it could be the Jonathan Stewart show for the Panthers from here on out. Does it happen this week? Is it the right thing for the team at this point?
Time will tell, but at least they won’t have to pay an arm and a leg for both guys and can use that money elsewhere. Basically, it’s time to make a choice Carolina!!!
Steve Smith (WR Week 8 Ranking #19) 2010 Season: 17 Recs for 224 Yards & two TDs
Matt Moore is back, he seems to be good to go, and Steve Smith will eventually be the benefactor. Gettis and LaFell are good for sure, but Steve Smith has already demanded the ball. He gets it this week. Period.
David Gettis (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 18 Recs for 244 Yards & two TDs
I’m not convinced yet on Gettis after just one good game. Like with Moore, let’s see if this continues before throwing him in the rankings.
Brandon LaFell (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 11 Recs for 174 Yards & 0 TDs
Dante Rosario (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 15 Recs for 120 Yards & 0 TDs
Still not worth your time.
St. Louis Rams (3-4) Rams Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Carolina Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 4th - TDs Allowed T-8th
Carolina Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 24th – TDs Allowed T-12th
St. Louis Offensive Cast
Sam Bradford (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 146/260 – for 1,483 Yards & nine TDs
As much as I like him, I couldn’t get him into my rankings this week because I believe the Rams will likely try to run Steven Jackson on them.
Steven Jackson (RB Week 8 Ranking #8) 2010 Season: 149 Carries for 617 Yards & two TDs || 16 Recs for 165 Yards & 0 TDs
He says his finger surgery doesn’t mean a thing, and I believe him. Either way, the Rams are going to have to run the ball against a pretty stout Pass D like Carolina has, so SJax will be doing some damage. In fact, you might see a long one this week…
Danny Amendola (WR Week 8 Ranking #38) 2010 Season: 39 Recs for 351 Yards & one TD
Like I said last week, do NOT forget about little Amendola simply because 6’5” Danario Alexander had one good game. Tall receivers without experience can have the occasional great game simply due to their size.
However, receivers like Amendola, Welker, Davone Bess and the like stay true to their targets and will get you what you need in the end (in a Basic scoring Format of course).
Danario Alexander (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: five Recs for 78 Yards & one TD
One week does not a phenom make. Give him some time though, he’ll get it.
Brandon Gibson (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 12 Recs for 161 Yards & one TD
If Alexander can’t step up and take over for the injured Mark Clayton, Gibson may eventually be your guy.
Laurent Robinson (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: seven Recs for 42 Yards & one TD
Daniel Fells (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 16 Recs for 153 Yards & one TD
Denver Broncos (2-5) Broncos Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
San Francisco Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 15th - TDs Allowed T-21st
San Francisco Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 14th – TDs Allowed T-7th
Denver Offensive Cast
Kyle Orton (QB Week 8 Ranking #6) 2010 Season: 167/276 – for 2,140 Yards & 11 TDs
This isn’t really an away game for the Broncos, just so you know, as the game will be played overseas in England. That said, Orton has had a bit of a tough time lately. Going up against Baltimore, the NY Jets, and a fifth ranked Oakland Pass D three weeks in a row will do that to you.
However, San Fran isn’t nearly that special, as they rank 15th in passing yards allowed/game and are 21st in passing TDs allowed/game. Considering that the ‘Niners Rush D is still pretty darn good, I expect Orton to be passing all game long yet again this week in London and put up some pretty good numbers.
Knowshon Moreno (RB Week 8 Ranking #13) 2010 Season: 65 Carries for 212 Yards & two TDs || eight Recs for 108 Yards & two TDs
Again, this is NOT an away game for the Broncos. The game is in London, England, and if the players happen to be tired, this could be a run-fest for the ages. Fran Gore? Knowshon Moreno?
Both of these guys like to still it to the defense, and though Gore will come out on top, Knowshon will get his love without a doubt in this game. By the way, in just three, maybe four real games played, he already has most touchdowns than MJD does in seven on the season… Not too shabby.
Laurence Maroney (RB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 36 Carries for 74 Yards & 0 TDs || four Recs for 50 Yards & 0 TDs
Put a fork in him, but don’t eat him.
Brandon Lloyd (WR Week 8 Ranking #8) 2010 Season: 35 Recs for 709 Yards & three TD
So the bloom is definitely off the rose, but not so much that a little trip to England wouldn’t cure it. San Fran is at best in the middle of the pack when it comes to their Pass D, so Orton should be able to do what he wants this Sunday.
Eddie Royal (WR Week 8 Ranking #47) 2010 Season: 34 Recs for 393 Yards & two TDs
When Royal is completely healthy, he’s actually a big part of this offense and what has made Kyle Orton as good as he has been. When he’s gimpy, everyone else is affected simply because the underneath/shorter routes can’t be run as well. Royal… COME BACK!!!!!!
Jabar Gaffney (WR Week 8 Ranking #25) 2010 Season: 41 Recs for 462 Yards & one TD
Up and down the merry-go-round, merry-go-round, merry-go-round… Gaffney has to figure out where his place is within this offense before I rank him any higher.
Is he the second fiddle to Brandon Lloyd? Against the ‘Niners with one of the lesser Pass D’s in the league, yeah, it looks like he is.
Demaryius Thomas (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 15 Recs for 184 Yards & two TDs
Like Danario Alexander, Demaryius made quite the impression in his debut a bunch of weeks back. However, he was unable to hold down the fort as a viable fantasy player and has been all but forgotten in the Denver offense. He does, however, have the skills to put up some numbers, so hold onto him for a stretch-run.
Daniel Graham (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 11 Recs for 84 Yards & 0 TDs
He’s no Shannon Sharpe, that’s for sure. In fact, he’s barely worth a sharpie pen!
San Francisco 49ers (1-6) 49ers Schedule
Opponent Defensive Ranks
Denver Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 10th - TDs Allowed T-21st
Denver Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 30th – TDs Allowed 32nd
San Francisco Offensive Cast
Alex Smith (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 143/242 – for 1,554 Yards & nine TDs
Smith will be out 2-3 weeks, so stash him on your fantasy bench for now.
Troy Smith (QB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 0/0 – for 0 Yards & 0 TDs
Troy gets the nod this week, but don’t even think about grabbing him.
Frank Gore (RB Week 8 Ranking #2) 2010 Season: 135 Carries for 573 Yards & one TD || 37 Recs for 341 Yards & two TDs
Denver just got eaten alive by Darren McFadden, so really, you think Frank Gore can’t do the same? I don’t know if Frank cares a lick about England or not, but the game’s there, so if he wants to impress the world… now’s his chance! He will.
Michael Crabtree (WR Week 8 Ranking #42) 2010 Season: 28 Recs for 332 Yards & two TDs
Alex Smith is out, David Carr… ahem, I mean Troy Smith, is in. Hmmmm…. It’s possible that these two find an on-field chemistry that Alex and Crabby didn’t quite have, but I’m not betting on it.
Josh Morgan (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 20 Recs for 238 Yards & one TD
Josh has a ton of talent, but he seems to forget how to use it every time he walks out on the field.
Vernon Davis (TE Week 8 Ranking #2) 2010 Season: 32 Recs for 422 Yards & four TDs
The Broncos have been susceptible to the tight end position this year as they have given up three TDs in seven games to them. Vernon is one of the best in the game, so there’s no reason to think he won’t be the fourth in 8 games…
Green Bay Packers (4-3) Packers Schedule

New York Jets Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 22nd - TDs Allowed T-16th
New York Jets Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 7th – TDs Allowed T-3rd
Green Bay Offensive Cast
Aaron Rodgers (QB Week 8 Ranking #11) 2010 Season: 150/235 – for 1,841 Yards & 12 TDs
I know, the Jets haven’t been nearly as good with their Pass D this year as they have been in the past, but something tells me a 100% healthy Darrelle Revis shadowing Greg Jennings and an Antonio Cromartie cancelling out Donald Driver will make a big difference in the Packers game.
I can’t feasibly tell you to sit Rodgers this week, but don’t be surprised to see a mere 175 yards and one TD in the stat column when all is said and done the New Meadowlands Stadium this Sunday.
Brandon Jackson (RB Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 80 Carries for 363 Yards & two TDs || 19 Recs for 150 Yards & 0 TDs
Don’t start him this week against a real tough Jets Rush D if you have other options.
Greg Jennings (WR Week 8 Ranking #18) 2010 Season: 26 Recs for 390 Yards & five TDs
Supposedly Darrelle Revis is 100 percent again, which COULD spell trouble for whomever he guards… However, the Jets may stick with a “side-of-the-field” thing for a bit just to see how things are going. If that happens, Jennings could break off a long one. If not, you’re screwed.
Donald Driver (WR Week 8 Ranking #40) 2010 Season: 28 Recs for 307 Yards & three TDs
The 35-year old Driver saw his 133-game catch streak come to an end this past Sunday, but it was more due to injury than anything else.
Yes, James Jones is good, but he’s not nearly as savvy as Driver, so if you’re thinking that Driver is all of the sudden going to ride off into the sunset… you’re sorely mistaken. He’ll be fine and will come back to life a bit this week against the Jets. Don’t expect too much though.
James Jones (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 19 Recs for 284 Yards & one TD
Jones is being used more lately, and even though I’m liking what I’m seeing, it’s tough to get him in there against the Jets this week.
Donald Lee (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: six Recs for 63 Yards & one TD
Barely factors into the passing game.
Andrew Quarless (TE Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: seven Recs for 90 Yards & one TD
Same as above, with a bit more upside.
New York Jets (5-1) Jets Schedule

Green Bay Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 14th - TDs Allowed T-8th
Green Bay Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 23rd – TDs Allowed T-12th
New York Jets Offensive Cast
Mark Sanchez (QB Week 8 Ranking #14) 2010 Season: 98/177 – for 1,100 Yards & nine TDs
Sanchez and the Jets have had a week to prepare for this game, and I have no doubt they’ll be ready. The Pack has a ton of injuries, likely making it easier for the Jets to simply run the ball down their throat, but don’t be so sure.
Rex Ryan and Sanchez would love to get Santonio Holmes more involved in the offense for a good stretch run into the playoffs, and coming off a Bye is as good a time as any. This ain’t the Dirty Sanchez of old folks; he can actually pass the ball this year.
LaDainian Tomlinson (RB Week 8 Ranking #7) 2010 Season: 92 Carries for 490 Yards & five TDs || 19 Recs for 107 Yards & 0 TDs
The guy is beyond apprehension at this point. Fact of the matter is; the guy is still amazing! The Jets have obviously committed to burning him out, so until he does, especially against a beatin’-to-shit defense like the Packers, you gotta play him. Period.
Shonn Greene (RB Week 8 Ranking #21) 2010 Season: 71 Carries for 323 Yards & one TD || two Recs for 17 Yards & 0 TDs
The Jets are going to do their best to run all over the Packers this Sunday, and a 31-year old LT21 won’t be able to bring home ALL the bacon, that’s for sure. Shonn Greene will get his, don’t you worry.
Santonio Holmes (WR Week 8 Ranking #23) 2010 Season: seven Recs for 88 Yards & 0 TDs
Coming out party T-Minus four days… three days… two days… one day… Well, just as long as Woodson isn’t shadowing him of course…
Braylon Edwards (WR Week 8 Ranking #30) 2010 Season: 21 Recs for 343 Yards & four TDs
It’s weird thinking about Braylon Edwards being good because he was just on a Bye week. Then again, who knows how many balls he dropped (no joke necessary) over the past week, so he could have easily fallen out of favor.
Either way, except for Charles Woodson, who may be guarding him, the Packers Pass D is very suspect.
Jerricho Cotchery (WR Week 8 Ranking #NR) 2010 Season: 20 Recs for 154 Yards & one TD
Cotchery is pretty useless with Santonio Holmes back in the mix.
Dustin Keller (TE Week 8 Ranking #10) 2010 Season: 24 Recs for 343 Yards & five TDs
Keller was on fire for the first quarter of the season, but as soon as the Jets got Santonio Holmes back, his targets began to dwindle.
However, the Packers are so banged up on the defensive side of the ball that they tend to guard more against the deep ball now and let plays happen over the middle, so Keller could be in for a big game because of it.
