Tennessee Titans-Jacksonville Jaguars: Monday Night Football Hits the AFC South
This week in Tennessee Titans news, they head down to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars on Monday night.
It is the biggest stage of each week in the NFL, and both teams are a part of a four-way tie for first, and last, in the AFC South.
The Titans come into the game 3-2 with both losses being at home in games where Chris Johnson had less than 100 rushing yards.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Johnson had a good week last week against a Dallas team that had two weeks to plan for him and this week plays a team against whom he set his career high for yards rushing in a game, 228.
In the same game Johnson racked up 228 yards last year, Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 177 yards on only eight carries with two touchdowns. So one thing to expect is for both teams to come out trying to run and for both defenses to be attacking the run. The Titans and Jaguars defenses rank 11th (101.8 ypg) and 13th (102.8 ypg) against the run respectively.
The Titans should actually come out of the gate this week the same as last by throwing the ball so the Jags defense can't get too comfortable sitting around and attacking CJ. That way CJ will have more holes than he does with eight and nine men in the box.
The Jaguars need to do the same to open up the run, but the problem with that is when they pass on the Titans, they won't quit because they will be able to get yards galore, but the Titans will probably stop them in the red zone.
With the Jags passing and the Titans defense being how it has been this year, leading the league with 22 sacks, and the Jags offense giving up 12 sacks so far this year, it could be a long, hard, grass-filled day for David Garrard.
With Garrard being under constant pressure by the defensive line, expect to see some rushed passes and possibly interceptions by a ball-hawking secondary. The Titans wouldn't give up nearly as many pass yards if their secondary wasn't so aggressive for interceptions, but that is Titan football!
The Titans offense was clicking last week and should be just fine this week, while the Jags haven't been the bad team we always look for them to be.
I think the Titans will go to Jacksonville on Monday and come back with at least a share of the division lead after winning this one quite convincingly.
Titans - 35
Jaguars - 20
