Fantasy Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em Week 6
With bye weeks, injuries and fantasy football busts to manage in Week 6, owners are certain to be looking for creative ways to take home the win this week.
For some desperate owners, this is a make it or break it week as they look to stay in contention. If owners roll with the wrong guy, it could be a critical mistake that is the difference between a playoff berth and a seat on the sidelines.
Here are the fantasy football studs and duds for Week 6.

Start 'Em: Ben Roethlisberger, QB Pittsburgh Steelers
1 of 8
Welcome back, Ben.
After serving his four-game suspension, Mr. Roethlisberger will make his season debut this week against the lowly Cleveland Browns.
Roethlisberger's owners have been chomping at the bit for the big-armed QB's return, and he should have quite the day against a defense that made an awful Carson Palmer look really good.
While this one could turn into a blowout rather quickly with rookie QB Colt McCoy expected to start for the Browns, Roethlisberger is going to make his impact felt in a big way.
Throw him into the fire immediately.
Sit 'Em: Kevin Kolb, QB Philadelphia Eagles
2 of 8
Despite Michael Vick being sidelined for at least this week, Kolb is not an advisable option for owners in Week 6.
While he has certainly looked better than he had earlier in the season, Kolb still makes mistakes and is plenty vulnerable against a very improved Atlanta defense.
After the Falcons D/ST put up an astonishing 21 points (standard scoring) last week, those thinking about starting the mediocre Kolb should see if they can cook up another option before Sunday's tilt.
Start 'Em: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB New England Patriots
3 of 8
"The Law Firm" is expanding his clientele base on a daily basis.
Laughed off in fantasy circles as being completely irrelevant, Green-Ellis has emerged as the Patriots' No. 1 back and a legitimate flex play.
Following the Randy Moss trade, the Patriots will be looking to come out guns blazing after the bye week. While the matchup against Baltimore may look less than appealing on paper, the Ravens' run defense has been surprisingly susceptible thus far in the early going.
Green-Ellis has a phenomenal chance of finding the end zone and should see anywhere from 15 to 20 carries in this one.
Sit 'Em: Thomas Jones, RB Kansas City Chiefs
4 of 8
With Jamaal Charles' explosive skill set, Jones' owners knew that this day was coming.
After receiving just eight carries and tallying a pathetic 19 yards on the ground last week (one point), the veteran's days of sustained, prolific fantasy production are behind him.
While the redistribution of carries is anything but official, Jones' workload will more than likely continue to shrink as the season moves forward. While he looked good in the first few weeks of the season, it's clear that Charles is going to be the featured back in this offense.
TJ's owners should look for a better play this week, as it's very possible that a repeat of Week 5 is in the cards.
Start 'Em: Greg Jennings, WR Green Bay Packers
5 of 8
Be patient, owners. Jennings' time to shine is about to arrive.
After a very promising Week 1 performance, No. 85 has fallen off the fantasy radar over his last four games. Despite three touchdowns already this season (he had just three all of last season), Jennings has been used as more of a decoy in the Green Bay offense than a real deep threat.
Fortunately, the arrow is pointing sky-high for Jennings' fantasy potential with the recent injury to tight end Jermichael Finley. Additionally, the Packers' coaches met this week specifically to craft a plan to get Jennings more involved moving forward.
If the Pack hope to keep the potent passing attack alive, Aaron Rodgers is going to have to find Jennings on a consistent basis, and with the receiver's skill set, there is a huge potential for production this week against Miami.
Sit 'Em: Dez Bryant, WR Dallas Cowboys
6 of 8
There has been an awful lot of attention on Bryant, but unfortunately for his owners it hasn't been because of his on-field production.
Often being relied on to produce like a WR2/WR3, Bryant's fantasy productivity may have to wait a while longer before it comes to fruition.
Tony Romo has a clear chemistry with Miles Austin, and Roy Williams has suddenly re-established himself as a weapon on the outside. With Jason Witten at TE and the electric RB Felix Jones in the backfield, there simply aren't enough targets for Bryant to make an emphatic mark—yet.
The rookie has been somewhat injury prone in the early going, and until he can prove he can get through a contest without a trip to the trainer's table, he's best left on fantasy benches.
Start 'Em: Tony Moeaki, TE Kansas City Chiefs
7 of 8
Moeaki is currently the best-kept secret in fantasy football.
With WR Dwayne Bowe struggling and a general lack of talent at the position, Moeaki has quickly established himself as QB Matt Cassel's favorite outlet.
After catching every ball thrown his way last week, Moeaki is clearly the most reliable receiving option on the KC team, and owners can bet that he sets a career high for receptions and yards in Week 6.
The Texans have been getting absolutely torched in the passing game, and with the Chiefs looking to prove that they are for real, owners can bank on Moeaki being integral to the offensive attack.
Sit 'Em: Owen Daniels, TE Houston Texans
8 of 8
Daniels is now fully recovered from his ACL injury, so what's the problem?
Drafted as a TE1 in a lot of leagues, Daniels has really disappointed his owners with a lackluster level of production.
Not that he was ever much of a red zone threat (career high five TD), but Daniels' lack of yardage is extremely alarming for his owners.
With a season-high output of just three points, owners would be foolish to continue trotting him out on a weekly basis until he proves he's capable of contributing at a higher level.
