WWE Night Of Champions: Predictions? These Are Guarantees!
6-Pack Elimination Challenge for the WWE Championship
Sheamus © vs. John Cena vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton
I really like that this match has been made an elimination match. Many believe that this will make the winner weak after surviving so long and then be prone for The Miz to cash in the Money In The Bank match. Although, I'd love to see The Miz cash in tonight I can't see it happening. In this match I see a few things happening, I see John Morrison causing Chris Jericho to be eliminated in some form, Sheamus will lose tonight and we will be left with John Cena and Randy Orton. Cena will have eliminated Wade Barrett which will cause the Nexus to hit the ring and cost Cena the match leading to the much needed Barrett/Cena match. Orton to walk away with the Championship and defend against Sheamus next month at Hell In The Cell. Plus, we've had heel champions for months now so Randy Orton to walk away with the title.
No Holds Barred Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Kane © vs. The Undertaker
I still can't get over how weak Undertaker looked this past Friday on Smackdown, he didn't get a single bit of offense on Kane. I don't see Kane winning pinning him cleaning but I see Kane being victorious and walking away with the Championship as with the match before leading to a mouth watering Hell In The Cell match between these two. Inside the structure it all began in 13 years ago. Kane to win.
Intercontinental Championship - If Dolph gets DQ'd or Counted Out he loses the title.
Dolph Ziggler © vs. Kofi Kingston
Dolph has been cheating his way out of the match for weeks now but he hasn't cheated to win yet, he's been mainly getting DQ'd or counted out hence the stipulation. Kofi is seriously over right now but I don't see them putting the title back on him so soon. Especially seen as Dolph had to wait over a year to get the title he was promised last summer. Dolph Ziggler to retain but by cheating to get the pinfall.
United States Championship
The Miz © vs. Daniel Byran
This match could seriously change my predictions. People like Daniel Bryan but he's not hugely over. His return was overshadowed as it came for a match that featured a total of 14 people. The next night on RAW they made no deal about him and he lost a quick match to Michael Tarver. I like Bryan but just think they've been laying the ground work to make him a credible United States Championship. I see him taking the belt from The Miz, but not tonight. People however think that Bryan will win the belt which will lead to The Miz cashing in later in the show but as I said I don't think they've been getting Bryan ready to hold the belt, and even though The Miz is heel he could easily beat Bryan cleanly and it wouldn't seem weird, it could happen. The Miz to keep the title.
Diva's/Women's Championship Unification Lumberjill Match
Melina vs. Michelle McCool
McCool tricked Layla to get into this match and even though the signs point to Layla screwing McCool out of the belt tonight that leaves no room for a feud unless McCool walks away with the belt. The Lumberjill's around the match may as well be backstage, it's just to get them on the card for once. So I see Michelle McCool winning and leading onto a LayCool feud.
CM Punk vs. The Big Show
People don't like the fact that this is on the card as it's not a title match but with CM Punk being such a huge star in the WWE and the pay-per-view being held in Chicago, they need to showcase the hometown hero. Many say make it a dark match, but it's CM Punk, he doesn't do dark matches and rightly so. For this reason I see CM Punk winning, probably with help from the SES trying to win back Punk's trusts.
Tag Team Championship Match
The Hart Dynasty © vs. ???
I'm sure this will be added to the card tonight, maybe it will be set up during the show with them issuing an open challenge. Signs point to Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes challenging, but others suggest Goldust will be added as he was called yesterday to be at the show. Either way I see The Hart's loosing.
