A Mental Note About LeBron James and His Own Mental Notes
Since LeBron James has joined Twitter, a whole new incite into his mind has been discovered. Many of us living in Northeast Ohio lived with rose colored glasses on the last few years. Everyone from Cleveland Cavaliers ownership to fans ignored James' constant complaining, and preposterous demands. As soon as his "decision" was done, and James had stabbed the great city of Cleveland and its fans in the back, many of us took off our rose colored shades and saw LeBron James for what he truly was, a quitter. There was burning jersey's in effigy, smashing of bobble-heads, and screams of anger toward the man who had the stones to title himself "King."
In the month after the "decision," James has said nothing to those who now loathe him. His arrogance, ego, and delusional behavior has come across as nothing more than a spoiled brat. For someone who came from a single-parent household, where life was a struggle, LeBron James certainly acts like everything has been handed to him. He quit on his team in the playoffs. James also held his Bike-A-Thon in Akron the same week as the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club. James felt he could take attention away from an event that is traditionally for decades Akron's biggest weekend of the year. It was yet another classless move by LeTraitor James.
Looking at how poorly James' people have led him has led me to the reason for this article. Last night, on Twitter James tweeted the following:
"Don't think for one min that I haven't been taking mental notes of everyone taking shots at me this summer. And I mean everyone!"
What? Are you kidding me? A basketball superstar who packed his bags and took his talents to South Beach to team with two other superstars is taking mental notes? If I put myself in LeBron James shoes right now, my top five mental notes would be....
- Prevent mom from seeing Dwayne Wade, he's a suave dude like Delonte West.
- Re-watch "The Decision," every other television network thinks for themselves and is too mean to me.
- Sports Illustrated put me on the cover but I was behind Bosh and D-Wade, they must not like me.
- Stuart Scott is the only reporter to not criticize me. I must take him to dinner.
- Do not invite mom to any games against Minnesota both Delonte West and Mike Beasley play there. They look a lot alike.
