NCAA Shows Interest In Bledsoe
The New York Times is reporting that Eric Bledsoe may not have been accademically eligible for the previous season of College Basketball.
OK well i personally feel like the NCAA has dropped the ball to many times. How do you not hold the NCAA accountable ? When for the past 2 years they have came out saying oops we might have missed something and you may have to forfeit wins because we didn't do our jobs right the first time.
Lets face it if you have a potential player face not only a normal academic screening but an Extensive one from the NCAA Clearing House. You should be able to take that to the bank. They train these so called expert's to screen and investigate prior to playing a single college game so that schools don't have ineligible players on there team's. If i was a university and the clearing house cleared a player and they come back later and found that he wasn't eligible due to a reason that wasn't the university's fault. The NCAA should be fined for the harm they did to that university for failing to do there job appropriately the first time.

If i was an Life Insurance Salesman and it was my job to decide weather or not people got life insurance based on risk factors. Then i go and approve someone who is high risk because i didnt investigate properly. The insurance company is going to hold me responsible. Its much the same colleges invest alot of money and time to recruit the best talent they can.
If the NCAA says there eligible then they should be eligible. At the end of the day it boils down to the NCAA not doing there job right the first time and colleges paying for it.
