Calipari Lasts Just One Year
The opening words of a USA Today article dated 5-29-2010 states it as well as anyone could ever expect to:
"It's taken one year for questions to be raised about a player under John Calipari at Kentucky."
I have contended all along that a Leopard cannot change it's spots, and so, I, and everyone else who ardently follows college basketball, knew it was only a matter of time before something like this was revealed ...

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
In a NYTimes article ...
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/29/sports/ncaabasketball/29recruit.html
... it is reported that the NCAA is investigating yet another of Calipari's "one-and-done" non-matriculating players, Eric Bledsoe, because he could not have been eligible for admission to the basketball programme because his High School GPA for core courses were inadequate ... and to whitewash that fact, he was moved to another High School which was more pre-disposed to cooperating with the academic minimums required ...
There are more reported sorted aspects to this case, but the basic truth about John Calipari - who I have nicknamed "Cal-the-Lip" because he has such an incredible ability to cajole, convince, and convolute each programme he heads into believing that he walks on the straight-and-narrow, when he does anything and everything to attain the one thing that has eluded his contemptible college coaching career - a National Championship !!!
I guess all the talk about his leaving for the NBA might not have been so out of line ...in the NBA, will once again try and make people forget about his failings with the NETS after he "got-out-of-Dodge" ahead of NCAA violations @ UMASS ...
If, and when, he goes, college basketball will be rid of one of it's biggest charlatans of the modern era !!! I hope it is sooner rather than later ...
