Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Young spent most of the season as the prohibitive favorite before Oklahoma's season took a steep downturn in conference play. That allowed Brunson, Bagley and Graham—the likely three real contenders for the award—to step up.
Brunson averaged 19.2 points, 4.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game while leading Villanova to the Big East championship.
Bagley averaged 21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for Duke, becoming a favorite for Freshman of the Year honors. Graham led Kansas in points (17.2) and assists (7.3) while pushing the Jayhawks to a 14th straight regular-season conference title.
Young, meanwhile, will be on the outside looking in despite leading the nation in points (27.4) and assists (8.7).
