As the players from Loyola-Chicago were cutting down the nets in Atlanta after defeating Kansas State 78-62 to earn the school's first trip to the Final Four since 1963, students on campus were having a celebration of their own.

Watching their beloved Ramblers win the South Regional on Saturday from more than 700 miles away, the Loyola-Chicago community didn't hold back its feelings in the heat of the moment:

In addition to ending the school's 55-year Final Four drought, Loyola-Chicago became the fourth No. 11 seed in NCAA tournament history to advance this far. The previous three teams to pull off the feat—LSU in 1986, George Mason in 2006 and VCU in 2011—all lost in the national semifinal.

Saturday's victory over Kansas State was Loyola-Chicago's most impressive performance of the tournament. The Ramblers shot 57.4 percent and held the Wildcats to 34.8 percent from the field.
