Shareef O'Neal, Anfernee Simons Headline 2018 Iverson Classic Rosters

Some of the best basketball prospects in the country will grace the court during the second-annual Allen Iverson Roundball Classic, including Shareef O'Neal and Anfernee Simons.

The roster and coaches for the Iverson Classic were announced for the April 21st All-American Game.

"The Allen Iverson Roundball Classic held its first All American game in 2017 and represents a disruptive, independent new force in the sports world," a press release sent to Bleacher Report read. "The AIRC is truly a unique experience. It's the only grassroots basketball event of its caliber that is run by a Hall of Fame legend who is hands on, engaged and involved directly with the players. These soon-to-be NBA stars actually train and compete under the guidance of Allen Iverson."

The game will pit Team Loyalty against Team Honor.

Team Loyalty will be coached by former NBA player Stephen Jackson and Wesleyan Christian Head Coach Keith Gatlin and feature O'Neal, North Carolina commit Nassir Little and Kentucky commit Immanuel Quickley, among others.

Team Honor will be coached by former NBA player Larry Hughes and Christian Brothers College High School Head Coach Justin Tatum, the father of Boston Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum. The team will feature Simons, LSU commit Nazreon Reid and Georgetown commit Mac McClung, among others.

O'Neal immediately stands out as the son of Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal. The UCLA commit is a 4-star prospect and made news by decommitting from Arizona as part of the fallout from the FBI's investigation into corruption in college basketball.

His side will have to deal with Simons, who is a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 combo guard in his class.

Team Honor will also have Georgetown commit McClung, who is just a 3-star prospect but a high-flying dunker who the press release described as an "internet phenomenon."

The Iverson connection is notable with McClung considering he surpassed the former Philadelphia 76ers guard's scoring record in the state of Virginia.
