Loyola-Chicago Team Chaplain Sister Jean Has Ramblers Losing in Sweet 16

Joseph ZuckerMar 17, 2018

Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt may be the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers' team chaplain, but she isn't going to let that get into the way of winning her 2018 NCAA men's basketball tournament bracket pool.

During the broadcast of the Ramblers' second-round matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, Turner Sports' Ros Gold-Onwude reported the 98-year-old had Loyola-Chicago exiting in the Sweet 16 of her bracket:

Sister Jean is only being realistic. The 11th-seeded Ramblers are in the tournament for the first time since 1984-85, and they'd potentially have to upset the second-seeded Cincinnati Bearcats to reach the Elite Eight.

Sister Jean exemplifies the fact one can't let personal emotions get in the way of earning bragging rights over your peers in your tourney pool.
