The UMBC Athletics Twitter account was feeling feisty Friday night during the team's historic 74-54 first-round upset of the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers in the 2018 NCAA men's tournament.
First, it clapped back at Seth Davis of CBS, who made his patented "Sharpie" call in favor of the Cavaliers as the game began at Spectrum Center:

Then it took issue with a tweeter who couldn't believe the No. 16 seed Retrievers were keeping things close:

By virtue of their win, the Retrievers became the first No. 16 seed to defeat a No. 1 seed in NCAA tournament history. Teams seeded 16th were 0-135 against No. 1 seeds entering Friday night.
