2018 NFL Mock Draft: Predictions for Round 1's Biggest Boom-or-Bust Prospects
With individual workouts coming later this week for over 300 NFL hopefuls, there are a handful of potential first-round picks that will need to show up to solidify their spots inside the top 32 players taken.
Quarterback Josh Allen is among those players who will need to have an impressive week, especially throwing the ball. While Allen may come equipped with a cannon for an arm, he lacks consistency throwing the football. He has all the physical tools and attributes you want out of a quarterback, but those issues, coupled with coming out of Wyoming might keep some teams at bay, depending on how his showing in Indianapolis goes.

Players and Teams That Want Draft Redo 🔄
As we saw this past season, there are plenty of teams in need of offensive line help. That's where offensive tackle Orlando Brown could come in and be a useful commodity to a team. However, even ahead of individual workouts and drills, Brown was only able to muster up 14 reps on the bench press today, according to Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout.com.
Brown attributed it to "not sticking to his breathing plan," according to colleague Mike Tanier.
Lastly, let's face it: Quarterback Baker Mayfield has some question marks, too. We know his ability on the field, minus some inconsistencies reading the field, but his biggest concern, in general, is his attitude. Personally, no issue with it, but some teams might be scared off by it. He's made his fair share of lewd gestures on the sidelines during games, so will a team be willing to take him atop the draft? An incredible performance at workouts will all but seal the deal.
How do these three guys, as well as others, hold up when it comes to the first-round of the draft?

Browns Take Mayfield as the QB1

While there may be concerns with his personality/maturity (whatever you want to call it), the Browns need to make a statement in the draft.
At No. 1 they'll take running back Saquon Barkley and then get their quarterback with Mayfield.
Again, Mayfield can really play the game—that's not a concern—so the Browns and new general manager John Dorsey will hope to secure their franchise's future with Mayfield going as the first quarterback off the board.
Seahawks Bolster O-Line with Brown

Arguably the worst offensive line in the league, the Seattle Seahawks are desperate for some kind of production along the offensive line.
While they have Duane Brown, that's certainly not enough.
Brown may have had a bad showing at the bench press, he's a big, big man standing at nearly 6'8", according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.
Not to mention his 85-inch wingspan.
His individual workouts will help, but Brown will be able to be groomed at right tackle, opposite Brown.
The Polarizing Allen Replaces Carson Palmer

Despite all of his concerns, the Cardinals will take Allen at No. 15.
His intangibles, physical tools and a predicted good showing at the combine will win the Cardinals over.
Ideally, Allen, today, is a guy that you'd want to sit down for a couple of years to groom him, but on a team with running back David Johnson and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, he'll at least be comfortable in his rookie season, with two stud players to take some pressure off of him.
Again, starting right away isn't the best move for Allen right away, but his raw talent will net him a top-15 selection.
Get ready to see Allen throwing passes to Fitz.
