Joel Embiid Says He's Not Worried About Retaliation Because He's 'A Big Dude'
On Monday, outspoken Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid generated headlines when he baited Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell into committing a technical foul following some on-the-court trolling.
During Tuesday evening's edition of SportsCenter, ESPN's Jemele Hill asked the big man if he were afraid of any retaliation that could come from such antics.
"I'm not worried about that," the 23-year-old responded. "If those guys want to get their feelings hurt, they're not strong mentally, that's not my fault.
"When it comes down to it, and if we all got to square up, I'm 7'2" and I'm a big dude, so I don't think you want to try me. And I'm African, too.
"That's the whole point of playing basketball—having fun. Go out there, have fun, kick someone's ass and play basketball."
We hope The Process never changes.
