Redskins QB Kirk Cousins Says He's Playing 'My Best Football I've Played'

The Washington Redskins suffered a disappointing 34-31 overtime defeat to the New Orleans Saints at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday, but Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins isn't letting that setback affect his confidence. 

During a Monday appearance on local radio station 106.7 The Fan, Cousins was asked if he feels he's currently performing better than at any previous point of his career. 

"Yeah. That’s not even hard to think about," the 29-year-old signal-caller responded, per Chris Lingebach of CBS DC. "I mean, it’s not even close.  I’m playing my best football I’ve played." 

Cousins and the 4-6 Redskins will host the 2-8 New York Giants at FedEx Field on Thanksgiving night.
