Dre Kirkpatrick Nearly Loses Fumble on 101-Yard Interception Return

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick nearly produced one of the top blunders of the NFL season in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Almost halfway through the period, Denver quarterback Brock Osweiler dropped back for what he hoped would be a four-yard touchdown pass, but Kirkpatrick jumped the route to make an interception.

The 28-year-old outran all would-be tacklers, but he lost control of the ball around the Denver 15-yard line before regaining it just short of the end zone.

Kirkpatrick's teammates had his back, though, as Andy Dalton connected with Tyler Kroft for a touchdown three plays later.

Maybe keep both hands on the ball next time, Dre.
