Jaylen Brown, Kyrie Irving Lead Celtics to 92-88 Win over Warriors

Zac WassinkNov 16, 2017

Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown scored a team-high 22 points and teammate Kyrie Irving added 16 as the Celtics defeated the Golden State Warriors, 92-88, Thursday to extend their winning streak to 14 games.

The teams traded buckets and momentum throughout the evening at TD Garden, and the visitors took a two-point lead with 1:22 remaining after Klay Thompson drained a three-pointer.

Golden State failed to score again, however, and Irving and Jayson Tatum combined to go 6-of-6 from the free-throw line late to cement the victory.
