LaVar Ball Says 'We'll Be Good' in Potential Encounter with Donald Trump
LaVar Ball said he expects a potential meeting with President Donald Trump to go "good" after his son LiAngelo's arrest in China and return to the United States.
"We're gonna run into each other. We'll be good," LaVar Ball told TMZ Sports upon his return to the United States on Wednesday.
Ball did not say whether he and his family would visit the White House to thank Trump, who worked with Chinese President Xi Jinping to have the three UCLA players arrested for shoplifting brought back to the U.S.

LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday after being held on shoplifting charges after stealing from multiple stores in Hangzhou. UCLA traveled to China for an exhibition game against Georgia Tech.
All three players admitted they shoplifted and apologized for their actions in a press conference Wednesday.
"I didn't exercise my best judgment, and I'm sorry for that. This does not define who I am," LiAngelo Ball said at the press conference. "My family raised me better than that."
UCLA coach Steve Alford said all three players were suspended indefinitely for their actions.
"They will cooperate fully with the university review of the matter and will use this time to focus on their academics," Alford said. "My expectation is that they will work hard to demonstrate why they deserve to be a part of this program."
The players also each personally thanked President Trump, who said the players were looking at 10 years in jail without his intervention.
