Dolphins' DeVante Parker on Jay Cutler's Toughness: 'He Just Gets Right Back Up'
Andrew GouldNov 7, 2017
Playing with cracked ribs, Jay Cutler had his best game of the season in Week 9.
The Miami Dolphins quarterback went 34-of-42 for 311 passing yards and three touchdowns Sunday night, but his team still suffered a 27-24 loss to the Oakland Raiders. He nevertheless earned admiration from wide receiver and teammate DeVante Parker, who made a spectacular one-handed grab to spark a late comeback attempt.
"He's a tough player like that," Parker said of Cutler after the game, per MiamiDolphins.com's Alain Poupart. "He gets hit, he just gets right back up."
