Halftime Disturbance Mars Red Bulls-TFC Playoff Game

Tempers spilled over between the New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC during the second leg of their MLS Cup Eastern Conference semifinal Sunday.

As the teams headed down the tunnel at halftime, a fracas erupted. Jozy Altidore and Sacha Kljestan were given red cards and ejected for violent conduct.

Bradley Wright-Phillips' deflection of a Daniel Royer shot resulted in the only goal of the game. While New York won Sunday, Toronto will move on to the Eastern Conference finals due to an away-goals tiebreaker.
