The Houston Astros scored five runs before the bottom of the second inning of Game 7 of the 2017 World Series versus the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.
That was more than the visitors needed Wednesday night.
The Astros defeated the Dodgers 5-1 to win the club's first championship in its 56-year history. In all, Houston utilized five pitchers to hold the Dodgers to only a single tally, and Charlie Morton earned the victory for his four innings of one-run baseball.
