Marvin Bagley III Won't Return vs. Michigan State After Suffering Eye Injury
Duke Blue Devils forward Marvin Bagley III was poked in the eye during the first half Tuesday night against the Michigan State Spartans and was ruled out for the remainder of the game shortly after halftime, according to ESPN's Maria Taylor.
The freshman managed four points and six rebounds before the injury.
Bagley was initially considered the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2018, but his successful bid to reclassify allowed the Blue Devils to nab him a year early.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Over his first two games, the 5-star standout averaged 24.5 points and 10.0 rebounds on 65.7 percent shooting from the field and 33.3 percent shooting from three.
Those offerings aren't going to be replicated by another player on Duke's roster, but head coach Mike Krzyzewski has a deep talent pool that can band together to compensate for Bagley's absence.
So long as the freshman phenom is sidelined, Duke should lean on Wendell Carter Jr., Marques Bolden and Antonio Vrankovic to shoulder the frontcourt workload.
