Andrew Wiggins Banks in Game-Winning 3 at the Buzzer vs. Thunder
Absolute madness. That's what the last 10 seconds of the Timberwolves vs. Thunder game consisted of.
Minnesota had a 112-110 lead with under nine seconds remaining. Russell Westbrook found his new teammate Carmelo Anthony who buried the go-ahead triple with 4.7 seconds left.
Then Andrew Wiggins took over. He dribbled across half court, pulled up and banked in a three as time expired to give the T-Wolves the win.
Wiggins has been a topic of discussion at the start of this season. On Oct. 11th, the 22-year-old signed a $146M extension. Prior to signing the extension, Wolves owner Glen Taylor said he needed a verbal agreement from Andrew that he would "commit to be better," per Sam Gleeson of USA Today.
He definitely earned his money on that shot.
